Oh my god ohmygodohmygodohmygod....The show is tonight! I need more time! I'm not ready! I'm too nervous! Gaaaaaaaaaahhhhhh! *runs around like a headless chicken*
What if nobody shows up? What if everybody shows up?! What if I trip? What if something doesn't work? What if a giant squid monster decides to destroy Manhattan (starting with St. Marks place) and uses its' monstrous sucky tentacle to snatch members of the band away leaving us with no music?! I mean, really! We have to consider the possibility of these things!
At least it'll be talked about I suppose...if there are any survivors.

On a more personal note, you know the costume shop job I finally got hired for? It's pretty interesting. Except my life feels like "The Devil Wears Prada"....with costumes....someone save me!

Dan, Shelly, Todd, and I are making cordials (maybe mead?) at my house this weekend. Anyone want to join in the fun? Give us a call and let us know when you're coming over.
On that note, I am at a loss for ideas for cordial flavors. Any suggestions/recipes? I've already asked Shelly to make me the amazing gingerbread cordial that he had at Pennsic. He won't give me the recipe but I told him I don't care as long as he makes a ton of it for me :D
But I need other ideas for flavors to make myself. Any thoughts? Also, would it be possible or advisable to make something orange/cinnamon/rosewater flavored or would they just not mix well as a drink?

Desperation time has set in and I need some help.
My friend and booth helper Mary Jane needs a ride to Pennsic. She lives in the New York City area and can leave either Thursday night or Friday morning July 31. She only has a duffle bag, small rolling luggage, and her backpack and can share gas and driving. Can anyone help? Please contact me here or email Pacita at materialis dot com.
