I'm still here... occasionally. But it doesn't seem like many others are, and a girl can't be a tribe of one. I still check in on Tribe from time to time, but I've become more active on Facebook and LiveJournal, and update those pages frequently. If you're active there, or on MySpace, feel free to add me, or message me if you need my contact info there. I've made a lot of great connections here, but it's gone so very quiet...
about me
My given name is Stephanie, but my friends call me Padme. I am a Cache Valley, Utah girl who was transplanted to Sin City at the tender age of seven, which was probably one of the best things that ever happened to me. I'm a nouveau hippie, occasionally goth, pagan chick with a scorpio sun, aries moon, and libra rising. I guess that would make me a secretive, mystical, go-getter sex goddess with a flair for peacemaking and interior design. Yes, sarcasm is just one more of the services I offer. =) Get to know me and you'll find I have a dirty mind and a very dry sense of humor. I'm also a romantic and I love pampering the special people in my life. I'm definitely a sensualist.
This mermaid thrives in water of all kinds, and on time spent close to nature, though that's becoming increasingly difficult in this dusty, ever expanding city of concrete and neon.
Tree hugging dirt worshipper, optimistic cynic, dynamic and dramatic, reserved extrovert, compassionate pragmatist, angel or siren: both for a chosen few.
I have a tendancy to be much too serious if I play the hermit, and love to spend quality time with friends who make me think, broaden my horizons, tickle my fancies, and make me laugh.
I'm not in to stagnation, or making excuses, or blaming other people for my unhappiness, and I have little patience for those who choose to wallow in self pity instead of working to change their circumstances. That being said, I'll be the first one to help a friend make a change if they're serious about it, and I'll work beside them to make it happen.

I'm listening to Keith Olberman as I work. His show is filming from the national mall in DC.
I cracked up, as I realized what the crowd behind him was chanting:

padme gives new meaning to "the power of cheese compels you" and "the special dance". she is laughter and light and warmth and fire and cool like water all at the same time. she is the mermaid. she is the fire. she is my friend and she is groovy. hers is a voice of an angel, and the smile of the most devious devil around. i do love the padme. she's yummy

Im goin to put down what I put on my blog... because, well it was perfect, so here I go : "Padme is Warmth & Beauty, Kindness & Harmony all in one Goddess, she makes me feel at home in my own skin, with just one of her hugs & I love when I get a chance to have moments with her".... Padme is elusive, like a breeze, mysterious like the moon, deep like the ocean, and intelligient. She is going to go places. I hope I know her in twenty years so I can say "I knew her when..." Did I mention her voice? It's ethereal, haunting, lovely. If she sang more, people might forget to go to war.

The Beauty of Padme is still uncharted. this woman not only enbodies her name but she also works hard to uphold it..... Padme is my soul sistah!!! the angelic tones that come out of her... WOW . when she sings it's like hearing the angelic choir! beauty and power!!!! she also has the cutest giggle ever!!!! I LOVE HER!!!!
