I keep watching you take challenges, and kick their ass. You are an inspiration. You just keep doing whatever the hell it is that you do to make it happen. We're going to need some sort of Paidia chant soon.

Sometimes you just know when you meet a synched spirit. After exchanging words of strength and peace for a few years I was finally blassed with the opportunity to meet this glorious woman face to face. She is a Goddess on earth. The love and peace I seek flow freely from her. She is real, honest and true to what this life offers. You will find no fake masks or false idols in her world. You will find pure truth with her. Be it easy to bear one day and painfull the next, you will find it within her eyes. I am honored to know you. I love you and embrace your entrance into my circle with out question. My home and heart is always open if you are ever in my neck of the world. Oz

Sometimes, writing things for people takes time. I wish to say what I mean and mean what I say. So in saying something about Paida, I wished for the right words. Words really do mean alot and she is so very deserving of only the best. This woman is trooping through school, home life, tribe and so many other things. I am in awe of what this woman is capable of.
She has courage, laughter, compassion, grace and is always there for you when you need a true friend. She has a pirates heart and love for rum, and she is hella artistic. I have seen her swinging through the masts with a skirt on.:) She even wears the cutest,,,,oh, right. Ahem,,,
,I know enough about her, to tell you that she can barrel through any problem. She is simply incredibly warm and wonderful and I think the world of her and am ever so glad that she is friends with me.
Now,,about those cute........:) heh

The Thelma to my Louise, my map holder (now if we can just find the damn thing, again ;), my confidant, and most importantly my Funny. She is smart as a whip (yay), gets MY jokes, and doesn't quite know (yet) how marvelous she is. But she shall, oh, lordy, she shall. Thanks, Paidia....for all that you are. ~*~

Hello and thank you for checking out my profile.
I first joined this community as a way to stalk my local friends and then, like a new roller skater at a rink, slowly left the wall and merged into the threads where I was delighted to find a selection of witty, wonderful and like minded folks with whom I've managed to truly connect with.
This place has become a second community for me...a cyberhome town if you will and I continue to enjoy the creative minds and generous people I "meet".
Sadly, just like in real life I cannot become friends with the entire community of tribes and don't have the energy to visit every individual tribe that exists...
In that vein please understand that while I love to visit I am careful to only accept friendship offers from those I'm familiar with or have chatted with in the threads and have no interest in "collecting" friends for the sake of collecting...that's not what people are for.
Additionally, if you invite me to a tribe and I do not join please don't be upset ... I have limited time and have already made the mistake of joining a few too many, which I've had to cull back...which makes me feel bad when I have to say goodbye to nice folks because I can't keep up.
So, if you took the time to come read this...and we've chatted before and you think we will hit it off by all means please send the invite...if you just want to collect me...move along...I'm a real person...the Icon is just an Icon...not a stamp. :-)
Thank you and good travels. Paidia

"I gather, young man, that you wish to be a Member of Parliament. The first lesson that you must learn is, when I call for statistics about the rate of infant mortality, what I want is proof that fewer babies died when I was Prime Minister than when anyone else was Prime Minister. That is a political statistic."
Sir Winston Churchill (1874-1965)
Enduring habits I hate.... Yes, at the very bottom of my soul I feel grateful to all my misery and bouts of sickness and everything about me that is imperfect, because this sort of thing leaves me with a hundred backdoors through which I can escape from enduring habits. ~Friedrich Nietzsche, The Gay Science, 1882

about me
Yes, well...what about me? Okay, I'm funny, other people say so, I'm shy in general but very straigt forward with people, I don't believe in letting mis-communication cause fighting and general stupid behavior. I have FMS, CFS and a few other chronic acronyms but I mostly deal with it pretty well. My favorite quote is "Blessed are those who can laugh at themselves for the shall mever cease to be amused".
Well, my girl was given a subpoena for Tuesday morning court...sadly, that's the first day of school. She's taking it great, a real trooper...and we're making it fun "the other kids don't get one" & "I went to court and all I got was this lousy subpoena..." lmao. She goes home tomorrow afternoon. Mom's going to take her & explain to the ex that she & my girl were both served and must show. Gonna be a fun Tuesday. :-/ . Prayers, juju, etc... all welcome.
