Sometimes, writing things for people takes time. I wish to say what I mean and mean what I say. So in saying something about Paida, I wished for the right words. Words really do mean alot and she is so very deserving of only the best. This woman is trooping through school, home life, tribe and so many other things. I am in awe of what this woman is capable of.
She has courage, laughter, compassion, grace and is always there for you when you need a true friend. She has a pirates heart and love for rum, and she is hella artistic. I have seen her swinging through the masts with a skirt on.:) She even wears the cutest,,,,oh, right. Ahem,,,
,I know enough about her, to tell you that she can barrel through any problem. She is simply incredibly warm and wonderful and I think the world of her and am ever so glad that she is friends with me.
Now,,about those cute........:) heh

The Thelma to my Louise, my map holder (now if we can just find the damn thing, again ;), my confidant, and most importantly my Funny. She is smart as a whip (yay), gets MY jokes, and doesn't quite know (yet) how marvelous she is. But she shall, oh, lordy, she shall. Thanks, Paidia....for all that you are. ~*~

I do not know Paida as well as I would like to. But from what I have twigged about her, she is generous and incredibly witty. She is very accepting of even us wierd uns....:) Deffinately a woman who has her head together. It is nice to meet someone who believes in extreme honesty and takes no guff.:)

What to say about this girl!! She lives in my dream retirement spot, so I just KNOW that we're going to get to be RL friends and play together lots, one day. This is a good thing, because if you've ever read a description of a party at her house, you KNOW that you want to be there <g>. Here is a woman with some crosses to bear that make mine look like toothpicks, but who still manages to be a bright, sunny spot here on Tribe...I so treasure that, and hope that I'll be like her when I grown up (like I'm ever doing THAT, but still). She's fun to flirt with, and talk to, and she makes ART!!! (and is even going to let me have some <bounce bounce>!!). I just plain LIKE her, and hope that we keep getting to know one another better and better. She's a good one, this chicklet : )!!

Hello and thank you for checking out my profile.
I first joined this community as a way to stalk my local friends and my sister and then, like a new roller skater at a rink, slowly left the wall and merged into the threads where I was delighted to find a selection of witty, wonderful and like minded folks with whom I've managed to truly connect with.
This place has become a second community for me...a cyber home town if you will and I continue to enjoy the creative minds and generous people I "meet".
Sadly, just like in real life I cannot become friends with the entire community of tribes and don't have the energy to visit every individual tribe that exists...
In that vein please understand that while I love to visit I am careful to only accept friendship offers from those I'm familiar with or have chatted with in the threads and have no interest in "collecting" friends for the sake of collecting...that's not what people are for.
Additionally, if you invite me to a tribe and I do not join please don't be upset ... I have limited time and have already made the mistake of joining a few too many, which I've had to cull back...which makes me feel bad when I have to say goodbye to nice folks because I can't keep up.
So, if you took the time to come read this...and we've chatted before and you think we will hit it off by all means please send the invite...if you just want to collect me...move along...I'm a real person...the Icon is just an Icon...not a stamp. :-)
Thank you and good travels. Paidia

Under very special occasions I will accept a check, however I require payment in advance and a five dollar additional charge.
I have both real-world and tribe references for those who would like them.
Again, thank you for reading this and have a great day.
I'm very open to just about anything the ladies would care to throw at me...I'm proud of my newly re- found sensuality and really enjoy exploring that part of me that just goes to mush when a lovely lady goes bi ;-0)
HOWEVER
I have a wonderful man in my life who is my committed life partner, so guys...even tho I am pretty damn cool I'm taken for anything but friendship and witty repartee...that I'm always up for and my man has no trouble with me flaunting it...my wit that is...
My partner and I have rules that we live by, they are liberal and freeing and wonderful...so come play with me...we will have fun...so long as everyone is respectful of one another...
If you can't be respectful of me or my tribe friends then don't even bother making contact, you won't last long and Time is too precious to waste on jerks, I know this from previous experience.
Happy hugs to all...

The soul divided becomes the whole
Broken bonds that tie you down
Endless threads woven together in dreams
Creating a web of hidden desires
Actions formed of thoughts forgotten
Bringing to light what lingers in the dark
The walls of a crumbling mind
Unbound, tumbling like so many rocks
Against the distorted shores of the psyche

For every woman who ever bared her breast
Only to soon find her womb full
For every woman who longed for broken eggs to grow
Only to take another’s baby - One who had nowhere to go
And to all the ones who never felt maternal
Until the moment came – a cousin, niece or nephew
Your best friend’s child –the boy down the lane
For every woman who gave her milk, dried a tear
Soothed a young one’s angst
For every woman who comes often to the aid of those not her own
Your single brother’...

Rushing ahead at a frozen pace
Each moment full of empty thought
