one of my fondest memories of melissa was when she saved me from the (then evil) clutches of my parents and invited me to move into her house that she shared with a punk rock band -- CASA DE LENGUA! -- in salinas. she had two cats and a very cramped room that she shared with me. we used to lie in bed at night and banter back and forth about how our balls were so heavy in thick jewish accents and giggle the night away. this memory speaks to what kind of person melissa is at the core, someone who sacrifices to help others and laughs while she doing so...

Melicksha is about as empathic as they come, a sensitive soul who has always understood and accepted me. A giving warm heart, she feeds the hungry while hungering herself.
