My Testimonials

November 4, 2008
Oh Cable...my brutha from anotha mutha! My telepathic twin. My friend that gives the best warm snuggly hugs EVER! How do I even begin to tell the world what I think about you my sweet Cable? Everything I write will pale in comparison...and sound so damn lame! I've known you for just over one year now...and it seems like so much longer. I feel as though I've known you for a lifetime.

You have one of the most generous hearts I've ever met...Your wit is off the hook...Your golf-game drives me nuts!...you make me laugh my ass off...you take care of me when I do stupid shit and tell me it's okay...you make me "bring it" every time we compete...i've never NOT had fun with you, even if its just a sewing party!

I could go on, but then it would just become one big redundant rambling Cable love-fest...and, in reality, I think this testimonial sucks! All I really want you to know is I love you to death and I feel as tho we really are family. xoxoxo

Cable is the shizzle. He had a campmate named Dizzle and everytime she was with him he made her feel like swizzle!!!
Cable is just one sweet, nice guy! Always making me laugh and smile, Cable is an excellent golf partner, campmate and friend! Very easy to talk to and be around, Cable just jumps right in and helps out anyway he can and does it with cute clothes on! He also makes a mean tuna curry! (wink wink nudge nudge!) Love you Cable! I am so glad you joined Monkey Knife Fight for the burn!

Holy shiz, what can I say about Cable? He's a hall of famer that is fashion challenged and built like a brick house, that’s 4sure. He's also, a comedic force of nature that tears up the underground until the break of dawn. This man is a killer when it comes to sarcastic, self-deprecating, and honest humor. What I dig most about Chris, is that he's lives in the moment and makes it funny for everybody around him. He's so money and he doesn't even know it!

about me
[disclaimer: this was originally from a dating ad - needless to say I'm single] I try to life life with art, chaos and the business end all in balance. Its my life and I'm gonna make something (or other). I like music, dancing, art, friday/sunday, mtv's urban hip posturing, vh-1's gated-community-bravado and pop-culture whoring. Formerly a tech geek, and honestly, never too far away from one, I'm often on the computer creating options for the future or editing footage of the past.
"I don't like much, but what I do like, I love passionately." - a Chris Lowe quote from 'Paninaro' that sums it up for those who like it summed for them.

I've never met a scene I could believe in. The suits think I'm a punk. The punks think I'm a suit. I'm just me.

I'm a relatively reserved person at first, but eventually I figure out how to get out of my head and relax into a more engaged, happy chaos.

blah blah blah -- And I can't stand taking anything too seriously, including myself.

June of 2007 is when I put my Barack Obama bumper sticker on my car. It was the first one I've ever put on. And I'm used to backing losers, as most of us who grew up after Vietnam have. I hoped and hoped and hoped that I wouldn't be disappointed. I hoped he wouldn't buy into the ideas of destruction that have left so many of us disappointed with our politicians. Would he continue to defend the average person and try to move the nation toward a progressive agenda? Or would he simply try to destroy his opponents? After watching fixated for 2 years, I am happy to say that he has treated both Clinton and McCain with enough respect that I hope we can truly move past the divisiveness of the past 40 years. Will he be transcendent? I don't know. But I hope. And I've never felt hope for our politics before and it feels good.

Talking out of my ass

Re: Did you know this about me? (in Presentation Ogie) that I've never had a gay male friend whom I haven't slept with at least once. Friend defined as someone whose phone number I've called.
