Patric won my eternal affection one fateful New Year's Eve by using the phrases "hothouse flower" and "lick the chocolate starfish!" in the same breath.
Then there was the time he manually twirled the disco ball...then bowed down and worshipped it.... Patric is love and laughter and unbridled energy...one of the best friends I've ever had, and he'll be yours, too, cuz he's just that kind of guy. October 22, 2004
Patrick is kind to the core - a true gentle soul. He’s one of the few men I’ve met with sufficiently healthy attitudes towards women, that I wouldn’t mind him dating a woman I really cared about. He’s smart, opinionated, open-minded, curious, and always willing to lend a hand or an ear, even when he’s already heavily booked helping others. He’s a great contributor to any spontaneous silly humor that arises, and often helps to cultivate some on his own. He also runs with a fantastic crowd. I’ve met more great new friends through Patrick and his wife Jenni, than through anyone I’ve ever known, and I haven’t known them 2 years yet.

He taught me so much: about the sweetness of stillness, that big doesn't mean unhealthy, about how loyal even a cat can be, and how to love unconditonally. It really hurts but most of all I feel like I don't know what to do next.

Jenni and I are moving back to the Heights, and we're gonna live with Charlie this time! We found the most perfect place, with a yard, dining room & huge kitchen, two big bedrooms, and a little bedroom full of shelves and clothes racks PERFECT for Jenni and Charlie to start a sewing room/design playshop :) It was such a perfect deal, that we had to compete with many others for the lease.
