This is my favorite picture, a wonderful lesson in allowing! They were a cute couple, piercing, tattoo shave head dude, and his red-n-black haired dreddy girl, in a maroon fuzzy mini and legwarmers! I don't know em, forgot her name (Hattie, Havock?) and tried to keep them out of the shot, but... Look at that! You so see the love and intent, and its looks like its shooting up out of their hands, and out of the whole crowd! I really believe, despite all my time spent hooping, staff spinning, and schooling for social sciences, I have accidentally tripped my way into becoming a Digital Camera Artist overnight!

...and Higher Vibration is the Solution, for...?

The Universe is just as it should be!" ~Terence McKenna You heard it from Daddy T-Mac himself, there's nothing wrong with the Universe/Source/God, the Higher Vibration is the Solution to MYSELF!! I began my journey twards the light by reading the books of Thaddeus Golas, Esther Hicks and Eckhart Tolle, but it was aligning my personal vibration to a higher, more positive frequency, keeping it there, faking it till I make it, that Allowed me to ACCEPT these authors, and everyone else~ I used to think 'fear is the enemy' that we have nothing to fear except...well U know! I accept fear now as a helpful sense when in balance, and when excessive its a great indicator of a personal imbalance. Best of all, I don't judge myself for succumbing to worry, suspicion or fear, I have learned forgiveness breaks the fear-cycle, so I forgive myself and others, and that gets me back on track to the high-road! This has even shifted my opinion on evil (yeah, you heard me! Not all my friends believe in evil, thats cool, we're not White-Light Evangelicals demanding compliance, that's way too upstream!). I still see patterns that are so low vibration, tight-inflexible frequency, so form-obsessed and dense, that they pathatlogically bring every vibration down with them like a black hole singularity. By raging against the evil, it brought my vibration down, which I did not want to accept. It's there, it's real, but I could accept it then reflect on it. What could be lighter, softer, the higher purpose? How is the Universe loving me by showing me this? Almost certainly if I am patient, I will find my lesson from it, or gain my power back from it, make it part of my Universe, and then love it. Certainly, if I 'buy-in' enough to my still increasing frequency, 'evil' will lose its meaning as a word, just as the words Higher Vibration will as well. Hardest for me was watching others, either thrashing and raging their way to illumination, or just choosing to thrash and rage. Knowing there was an easier way, I couldn't stand watching others take such a rocky road. Now I realize that those tantrums and traumas are sometimes the 'ego-thrashing' I experienced, when I started feeling my presence more and my ego knew it's days as my compass, were numbered. Those pain-bodies people are heaping mass and density on (some like Mount Rushmore!), it means they could be just one 'dark night of the soul' away from illumination! I judged others for their self-abuse, BDSM, perpetual cycles of ruin, and general darkness... I now see not everyones path is straight up/ downstream/ the easy-way, that there is a road to enlightenment Straight Through their Pain! Taylor's been reading to me from the new book "Busting Loose" http://www.amazon.com/Busting-Loose-Money-Game-Mind-Blowing/dp/0470047496 and one of the helpful anecdotes about acceptance is about framing those at the starting-gate of enlightenment with those who aren't, in terms of Disneyland<snerk!>. If you're driving back from Disneyland and you see a car full of aquaintences on their way to Disneyland, you don't judge them for never having been there! You might want to tell them about it, but they're wrapped up in whatever before they get there: maybe they're worried about tickets for the rides, even though you know that all the rides are free now. You could tell them, but why spoil their suprise? Needless to say, I am so getting off my high-horse now, because enlightenment is the THING! Tolle has sold 9 million copies of A New Earth, and has been #1 in the NYT list for 18 weeks with no sign of slowing! Add to that, the 2012-shift is coming soon, major portals are predicted for the Solstice in a week, and everyone seems to want on the 'change' bandwagon for the '08 election, and feeling special but isolated as enlightened is gonna get real upstream soon :) Bottom line for me, how can I judge an action, that may be someone's path to enlightenment, especially now that I have bought that the Universe is just as it should be. Find your God/Source/Universe, and it too can be perfect, depending on how much you are willing to buy in! Love to you all Patric

I am an Animal Angel

If you were to combine my first exposure to Dreamtrybe, Spoonfed Tribe and New Monsoon, it would equal the spiritual impact of discovering Kan'Nal! So many songs spoke to my faith, pagan beliefs and shaman practices (esp. Desert Flower- "Shake my soul like a rattle!). However, my favorite, the one that touches me at my source, is Animal Angel! I have believed one of the core powers of magik is attunement to one's animal side, and transmogrification. My first magik beliefs were of Celtic stories, of the real King Arthur, (hero of my father's people, the Welsh) and how Merlin taught him the secrets of the universe by turning him into animals. I remember the fairytale of the King Stag, of how a king of India was transformed into a deer, and then learned this may be 7000 years old, the oldest fairy tale still told. I believe that through shamanism, meditation, or prayer, people have and do reach what seems like super-human states, by channeling animals. We all share Gaia with our bretheren, and we all evolved from the same spark of the Creatrix, it makes sense to me we can access these states, but others disagree... I also believe that we, as humans, are destined to greater. Not just spacetravel, but in transformation into pure energy. As we are all fragments of God, I think it is our destiny as a race to be god-like ourselves, and believe it has happened before. I have told people (many to their chagrin) I believe in the fairy folk, the Tuath De Danan, the celtic Children of Dana. I believe that an evolutionary branch of us has already made the leap to pure energy, and this is where all the vast pantheons of fairys, elves, angels and gods originate. These beliefs are quite different from Druidic, Wicca, Gardenarian, OTO, ect. practices, and my beliefs have been delegated by others to the new-age pile, ie. spiritual fast-food. However, hearing Kan'Nal fuse both Animal and Angel together, made my heart soar. Someone there in Colorado also believes we have the meta-human abilities the owl, hound and cat, and that we are beginning our journey through time and the metaverse as angelic spirits. I have met some incredible outside-the-box thinkers in the last 4 years, they don't all agree with my beliefs, or always understand, but they all support and encourage my spirit path. I am so very very greatful these friends introduced me to Kan'Nal, and that this band is courageous enough to speak to me, and all, about these things. It is so easy to be pessimistic when you read we may never have resources to physically leave our over-burdened planet, but if music like this spreads, and enough people learn to keep one foot in our animistic past while we look to our angelic future, then the future of Gaia, and eternal journey of humankind can be assured! Animals on my left, Angels on my right, and here I am, stuck in the middle with you!

The O-Blog-atory New Year's Resolution

For 2007, I resolve to think and speak positive spells. I recognize there is the power of creation in my imagination, and ideas are further empowered when they are said aloud. I will use the power of positive thought to promote myself and all my loving friends. This year, I will be mindful of the ideas I choose and say. I resolve to be more assertive, rather than than aggressive, more judicious than judgemental. I will focus on what I want to happen for me and loved ones, rather than give power to what I don't want. It's not even the end of January first, and my resolution has already worked once for me, and once for a dear friend. This stuff works better'n black-eyed-peas, and with no ham-hocks! oh, and Im also gonna work on my Espanol in aught-seven, 'cause it's cold outside and Im dreaming of frolicing on a Pacific beach in Costa Rica with all my humanitarian buddies!!

Old Tribe = New Coke!

This whole "We're taking it back" smacks of New Coke, circa 1985! For the kiddies born after the cola-wars, what this entails is switching a beloved product for a deliberately inferior one (screaming red logos, those cloy pac-man faces-yuk), then when consumers can't take any more, switch back to 'Coke Classic'... or 'Tribe Classic'! Seriously, Tribe had me at hello! LiveJournal is a snooze, and I have a profile molding somewher on Rupert Murdocks Myspace, but my homebase is here! If Tribe wants to continue to grow and thrive, they won't have to tweak the design, they just have to remember who their core is, phreaks, wierdos and art-extroverts the SF peeps here from the beginning! Sure you wanna keep it clean for that sacred 13-17yr old net-zombie demographic, but with over 400 Burningman tribes, a stray boobie photo is bound to happen, Let It! And Welcome Back Tribe, you never left!
