My Blog

Rainbow World Gathering was in Thailand. An amazing place on the beach and in the jungle. We were about 1000 people.The owner of the land was Thai and a very helpful young guy. His family also owned the island nearby which you could see from the beach. There was a boat every couple of days that would sail you there. Communal dinners and shared showers. Fabulous. I started my summer off at Gaiain Mind in Pennsylvania. It rained for 3 days straight but the music and energy were steller! We stomped on the mud in the pouring rain happily! Psymetrix played the last set and they truly rocked. I actually ended up hanging with Al from Psymetrix while he, Alex from Paresence and Niermal produced a track in The Trippy Trail bus in Chefshouen, Morocco but more on that later. These guys are good. They throw like the most killer underground parties, outdoor events. Went to an overnight open air party in Jersey in the middle of the night past sand dunes, trees and sketchy signs. Then BOOM! A 300 people party deco and all. Last weekend at a Beach same thing, through an empty parking lot, stumbling in the dark, lots of seaweed it rained a bit and there was like 100 peeps there but it rocked on, soundsystem all bagged up, pumping, feet stomping. It was suppossed to happen in Tennessee, last minute change to Deerfields in North Carolina. The first 2 days it poured. Of course since I'm coming from New York to down south I figure it'll be sunshiny and warm. Even had my suntan lotion and bikini. Needless to say when I got there, realitycheck! My tent had "a river running through it" (forgot to seamseal that shit!). When it rains, it really pours...
