Paul is really an amazing organizer. I started going to his Bliss events when they were still quite small and intimate, and had the pleasure of watching them grow into these huge events over the years.

about me
Me? Mi? Mi!!! Fa so la ti...oh. Me. Ok, what's to know about me? Well I'm most known for being the creator of Bliss, a Bay Area (northern CA) community of holistic practitioners and students, now nearly 500 peoples. Somehow I find myself in the position of leader of a very neato bunch of people, utilizing my knack for zingy prose to compose newsletters for this group, gluing together the disperate tribes of the holistic cornucopia. Is that a good word for what i mean? Maybe diaspora. Dunno.

I provide a canvas for these people to paint. A place to come together, learn, laugh, and be with one another. Connect. Which is what I'd like to do, here. Especially in the East Bay. See the next section for more on that.

I have a lovely girlfriend, who, in my opinion, is the cat's pajamas. Sweet, beautiful, funny, silly, and quite smart, and a great cook. I'm a truly lucky man.

What else? Been a dj, a writer/publisher (did the zine thing in the early 90's) I meditate every day, yet I'm by no means a squishy headed new agey sort. Though I believe in things that might categorize me as such. Like spirit guides. Angels. Past lives. Nothing being a coincidence. The universe playing a role in my daily life. Ok, so yeah I'm a bit squishy, what of it!? :-9

Dancing is, was, and I think always shall be, one of my favroite things. Especially at events like the Yoga Tai Chi collective, and Cheb i Sabbah at Nickie's in SF.

A passion I've developed over the years is photography. Well really it's an outgrowth of who I am as a person: Someone who finds beauty in the unexpected, champions the overlooked, sees things through a unique lense (pardon the pun)

Ok, there's more to me, but we don't want to spill it all here, right?

Re: How to view other region DVDs on newer Macbook? (in Mac OS X) Thanks Sax. Don't have the inclination to do all that right now, I have the disc for a short time, would rather just watch. Now what if you just want to watch, minus region code issues, the DVD?

How to view other region DVDs on newer Macbook? (in Mac OS X) I have a region 2 dvd that I want to play and am in the US. I've been told many times that VLC will work, bypassing the region code switching/locking issue. However, it seems that the newer Macbook drives do not work with it. What other (non warra... read more

My Blog

Hey everybody, today marks my first post as a professional blogger! I'm going to be a regular contributor on Triple Pundit, a sustainable business blog. I want to ask a favor of the digg users in the audience: Can you please go to my post and digg it, today? It's got three already, and I'd like to see it pop. It's a pretty relevent article to the people here anyway, discussing the 30 year laptop battery. Check it, and digg it, at www.triplepundit.com/pages/t...ry-fa... read more
