One of my earliest memories when I was first getting to know Jen was attending a black tie formal event together for work. She walked into that ballroom and totally knocked me and everyone else out! After the party, still dressed to the nines, she suggested a little neighborhood bar where she happily ordered herself a black and tan, a bacon cheeseburger with fries, and then challenged me to a dirty joke contest. Her jokes easily beat mine, by the way.
I have been lucky enough to know Jen now for many years and she has always been a true friend to me, no matter what. She has an outrageously radiant smile and she makes you feel like you are the only other person in the world. She is one of the most fun loving, funny, generous, spontaneous, loyal and truly kind souls that I know.
Lucky bastards in Santa Cruz!
