I was able to make a collapsible twist hoop myself. It opens and clases like a butterfly, hence the name. It is a lot heavier than a regular hoop because, after a lot of trial and error, I found that you need something verrrry strong (i.e., brass or steel) as the axis inside the rotating connector.
