Mourning the passing of my true love

   Sun, September 24, 2006 - 5:09 AM
My beloved dog Jupiter passed away on the last morning of the Summer (Wednesday Sept. 20th 2006) from complications arising from a serious long-term digestive condition she had since her first year. This past week she mysteriously became severely ill and in very short order totally lost it. I am torn to shreds and barely holding my shit together over this. My friends and loved ones have been very supportive and have helped me a lot. I just cannot fucking believe she is gone from my life. This being of light, extraordinary intelligence, fierce love, and stubburn devotion taught me what love really is. I thought I had an idea before she came into my life, but I had so very much to learn. She & I, for better or worse, were deeply bonded in spirit, very attuned to each other on every level. Though we struggled at times to communicate and relate - me not taking her to run in the park enough and her destroying way too much of my shit, I am SO immensely grateful for having had her share her life with me. She was 7 years old this past Summer.

jupiter is the teacher
my condolences for the passing of Jupiter. in the vedic astrology system, "jupiter" is the guru planet. it seems to me your dog's name served you both well and will continue serving you both well.

So Sorry
Mes, I was really sad to hear about your dog, Jupiter. I feel terrible and know how much you loved her and cared for her. I remember heading to the park with you and throwing the ball for her. She was such a beautiful spirit and I hope she is in a better place now. I am glad you have the community and love support you need to get through this. I just wanted to send you a note letting you know that I am thinking of you and sending my love and support as well. Talk soon,
Fumaca.

everytime I see Corta Copim's dog, I forget the name, I want to call her Jupiter. It was a blessing to have the dog understand the roda so well, and the art of the approach! She never would disrespect it as far as I have seen! Anet hra k Jupiter Amenta, Dua ur Jupiter Amenta!
