Sometimes, I feel kinda lost, like today, I´m stuck in freakin bluefields, talk about a hole, a dirty little port on the carribean side of nicaragua,so far out from the rest of the country you gotta take an 8 hour bus ride plus a speedboat to get there. Exhausted, no ferry to the corn islands the little paradise I´ve been longing to reach for a few months now. Everyone staring at me as I walk down the streets, the only white girl in town, travelling alone.

Life is a funny unpredictable thing, and if you´re not laughing, you´re just not getting the joke.
Right after I left the caribbean,I went up to some spiritual sanctuary to symbolicly end that resort life chapter of my life that was just ending. Felt like I needed a space to rest before I got back on the road. With all my good intentions,I climbed the hill, thinking I would meditate, fast, reconnect with the divine and so on and so forth. Of all months, December is the time to be homesick,
but I'm not, not really, I'm pretty amused actually, something about the " Christmas lights meets bikini" effect I guess. Or maybe the Christmas tree in the supermarket right next to the fan, there's something weird about the holiday season in the carribean. But I like it.
