... I just hula hooped for 5 minutes straight. I would have gone longer but bradley thought it was funny to try to run into it and get smacked in the face, thus stopping the hoop. He kept doing it so i just had to stop. owell... I wnt to learn to hoopdance. Too bad those hoops are like $40.

I like to dance. I have a 2 year old son who can balance plates on his head...He gets it from me =o)
Here's the bio from my website... Ashley "Nadirah" Tomten is Owner of Fitness Fusion and teaches the Bellydance, BellyBooty, and Fit & Flirty Workout classes. Ashley is currently level 1 certified through the Suhaila Salimpour School of Dance. She has been dancing her whole life and Bellydancing for almost 8 years. She performed with Aalim Dance Company for many years before leaving to attend College at TSU. She is now a member of Bellydance United of Columbia, Missouri and also performs periodically with Chuvani Bellydance (STL). She has been teaching Bellydance since 2005 and is founder and President of Truman State Organization "USMED" (The University Society of Middle Eastern Dance). She has performed at numerous events and continues to take workshops with wonderfully talented Bellydancers such as Kami Liddle and Petite Jamila, Karen Barbee, and Suhaila Salimpour. She also has other dance experience including Clogging, Blues, and Swing/Lindy Hop. Ashley is now attending TSU and plans to get a BA in art (painting) and her Masters in Education. As for her Bellydance Education, she is currently working towards her level II Suhaila certification
