A random series of events involving potential roommate situations in college led my life and Bill's together and it was a blessing. We've been best friends since that day 11+ years ago. Knowing Bill has changed my life to the point that I can't even imagine how different we'd both be had those decisions been made differently. We've explored the inner sanctums of our minds together, pounded the dance floor together, travelled together, burned together and I look forward to sharing many more experiences with my brother from another mother.
To know Bill is to see some of our potential as humans. He's as bright as they come with a heart as big and expansive and all-consuming as his mind and to know him is to know true, genuine friendship. There's nothing I can imagine with which I wouldn't trust him.
My life is truly better for having known him.

Bill is an amazing and generous soul and I'm so glad to be able to call him friend. Since me moved to the other side of the country, I've missed him a lot, but I am grateful that I get to see him each year at Flipside. He has a way of making you perfectly comfortable wherever you are, and he'll make sure you're not in want for anything.
A truly wonderful individual...

Hello All,
I haven't been using Tribe for some time now. I don't get any messages sent to my email (don't know if that is because Tribe sucks or because I'm not a premium member) so this profile is not a good way to get in touch with me. If you want to connect with me, please do so on Facebook @ www.facebook.com/billhendricksjr.
Namaste,
Bill

Thanks for all of the positive vibes y'all! Great news as we were able to come home yesterday afternoon. The house is fine - some soot and ash in the attic, garage, outside, etc. but all in in all it is in great shape. No visible smoke damage. We were VERY lucky, the fire passed to the north of us by around 1 mile and burned houses to the north, east, and west of us. The red cross, salvation army, and sd humane society are all taking donations of course if you can spare it. I will be vo...

Just a quick update from Roxanne and I. We are safe. We were evacuated at 6 AM on Monday morning. Our house in the Rancho Bernardo area of San Diego has survived so far. We are hoping to be let back in today or tomorrow to check things out.

Below is a quick list of books and movies I have enjoyed lately, in case anyone is interested:
- Movie: The Fountain, Darren Arnofsky's latest. This movie blew me away!!! I tend to say too much when describing films to friends so I won't say much. Just watch it :-)
- Book: Against All Enemies by Richard Clarke. Clarke was a career bureaucrat and the only political appointee to work for 3 different White Houses (Bush, Clinton, Bush) as the head of counter terrorism for each. He...

about me
I am a pretty shy person but once I get to know you I will talk your ear off. I enjoy a good discussion / argument especially about politics or religion (I am a far left atheist). I enjoy playing the devil's advocate and will often challenge people's beliefs. Sometimes I go overboard and become quite a prick. Borderline OCD, I often have a hard time sitting still... my "to do" list is in excel and over 100 items long at all times. I believe very strongly in karma / the golden rule and I always try to treat others as I want to be treated. If you are my friend, there is little I won't do for ya. I have a pretty addictive personality so I have to watch myself with alcohol etc. I have a broad sense of humor but my sweet spot is quite low brow. If you can't laugh at a fart joke, I don't wanna talk to ya.
