Good, Bad, I'm the Girl With the Gun
Bittersweet Feelings...
Wed, November 5, 2008 - 12:14 PMWith what looks like a win for Prop 8, I am angry in a time when I should feel jubilant.
This is... angering, embarassing, frustrating and more importantly sad. This should have been a no-brainer. Being gay is no longer taboo. This is not the only instance of discrimination in California. But that was in our past... or so I thought.
So, how am I going to deal with this?
I'm going to let my money do my talking... more then just donating to No on 8. I'm going to ban businesses that helped contribute to this steaming pile of BS.
If anyone else is interested in letting it be known that we don't appreciate making discrimination legal in California, then please feel free to pass on this list.

I think that part that infuriates me the most is the people and groups and organizations that supported it. People as far as New York and Florida helped back a California law. Religious organizations and churches helped create a state constitution amendment.
Just something to keep in mind.
ETA: And about those letters that went out to businesses and individuals who were against Prop 8. There's more information about that here: crooksandliars.com/julia-ro...blackmail
