Wow - tribe is up - its only been mostly down for a solid week. Good thing there is not huge forest fires and I might need to contact people to see if they want to do some Volunteer work. No pay but good experiences and a T-shirt.

Today I was looking at my tribe / myspace homepage and looking over the blogs. Usual stuff, usual people monopolizing the blog system - seriously three blogs a day - most about nothing and / or the usual daily tragic whatever. If 75% of your blogs have "hugs" or some variation of that in the comments section it might be time to stop blogging and see if Prozac is right for you. Tragic things and events happen to everyone, the homeless and millionaires alike but depressing everyone and treating people like some emotional tampon wont change a thing. It what you DO when bad thing happen that separates the successful from the failures. Hopefully you are a adult and can take the good with the bad. I read my friends blogs because I want to hear whats going on with my friends - good and bad - not asked to act as some sort of grief mop for the perpetually dysfunctional. I am really sick of listening to some peoples sob story - If your life sucks, work on it, don't blog about it - Do something, not talk about it. So I have decided to dump the worst of the blog offenders - so if your reading this your probably not one of the offenders Also I dumped 100 inactive tribe profiles and 200 tribes and 50 myspace friends I started with 235 tribe friend 212 Myspace friends unknown number of tribes - going to get down to 35 or so

My family might have to cancel Christmas. Tunes out my dad is sick ( nothing serous) and if he does not improve by Christmas then looks like Christmas dinner is off. Allergic to penicillin -Not Dead yet!

So as it tunes out I am allergic to penicillin. How did I found this out? Simple, I got a prescription to treat a Staph infection and took the pills as required and withing 30 minutes was covered in angry red dots that itched like hell. I took some aspirin to deal with the pain but that only made it worse and took a long hot shower which also made it worse. On the plus side WBW is this week so I don't need any makeup to get look scary

LA Fires

Got some friends headed to LA to fight the fires and it looks like more might be more on the way down in the next day or so. So far from Sonoma County alone we have 100 men and 25 engines. If I can scrounge up some Gas money I might go down also. the guys are on the Witch fire - 196,420 acres - 500 homes, 100 commercial properties, and 50 outbuildings have been destroyed, with no end in site The guys are on Strike Team XSN#2376 A Come back safe Here is a old photos from one of the guys down there

Fireworks rock!

So I spent the fourth hanging out with the people putting on the fireworks show at the Fairgrounds. Got a full tour of the mortars and all the good stuff that goes on behind the scenes. During the performance I had to put on my Firemans helmet because the spent pyrotechnics's were falling on us. A large burning chunk fell 5 feet from me. Good times!
