I am a semi-retired performer of the circus/physical theatre arts, actor's artistic administrator (or 'The Organiser'), healing practitioner (Indian Champissage & Reiki), writer, website designer and computer semi-geek. Also I turn my hand to a few other things like eco-decorating, DIY, sewing, gardening, carrying heavy boxes, packing and un-packing. The latter three I would like to retire from after five house moves last year.

A welcome milestone on the the journey of life. Those who have been through the process will understand the feeling of relief. All that information gathering and form filling and waiting and waiting at each stage is an exercise in patience and acceptance of the outcome, whatever it is, being for my highest good. It has been tough at times, making a new life here. I had to shed an increasingly noxious partner along the way. NOT LOVIN' McJOBS McDonalds is planning a campaign to remove the word ‘McJob’ from the Oxford English Dictionary (OEP). The word has become synonymous for a job with little satisfaction and low wages.
