Kevin is "good people". He's hard to pin in a box, which gives him this ultra cool mysterious feeling about him. Knows character too... I get the feeing he can spot a bad egg 100 feet away.

And how can you not love a full time pirate?
April 24, 2006
I know the man a lot better now. And I was right, now I love him. I have for a while and I just want to be sure he knows.

Because of you I can dream
You taught me to dream big
So I did.
Because of you I am not afraid
To be myself
To stand up for what I believe in
Because of you I can be the person
That I am today instead of who
Someone else wants me to be.
Because of you I have faith
In the things I do
I wont settle for less than I deserve.
Because of you I can do things
I never thought I could do
Now I can go the distance.
Because of you I am someone
I can be proud of
Someone I can respect.
You're my mentor, my hero, my life long friend
Always and Forever

I love you and Chris and thank you for everything you have EVER done for me!!!

He is eveyone's Dad...
And everyone's partner in crimes of the Heart (and FUN)!

It doesn't take a lot to get him... Just remove judgement and accept him as playful and wanting us all to be playful...

If he's ever touched you (mentally or physically)...
take in the experience...
If you were pleased... good...
if you were displeased... BETTER...
he'll help you test your boundries and discover new ones...

THEN it's your journey/task to explore and discover why you reacted the way you did...
that is...
If you want to grow beyond your current box!

His meaning is never negative... Why go there?

If we all came from Peace, Love and Playfulness... How cool would this world be?

I wish my dad were as cool as Lucky's dad.

Kevin is a guy who i can usually count on finding at any BM-flavored event. i search him out cuz he's ALWAYS got a smile on his face, a big hug and kiss, a RAD partypalace to chill in and LOTS of cool peeps hanging out. this year on the Playa, i visited him and his crew randomly, the night of the Burn, and left my red H20 bottle with him on accident. you know what?? he saved it for me and remembered to give it to me last week at LA Decom. it wouldn't have been a big deal if he hadn't, but the fact that he did meant ALOT to me. i had that bottle with me on the Playa this year - the MOST majickal year - and his efforts showed me that he's a true friend. i love you, Kevin. you're more than Lucky's Dad, you're SuperKevin!! xoxo's

Notes from BOB

Luke 11:2-4
And he said to them, “When you pray, say:
“Father, hallowed be your name. Your kingdom come. Give us each day our daily bread, and forgive us our sins, for we ourselves forgive everyone who is indebted to us. And lead us not into temptation.”

focusing on the main petition;
Forgive us our sins, for we ourselves forgive everyone who is indebted to us.
Or
Forgive us our sins, for we ourselves forgive those who sin against us.

In the last blog, we showed how sin was not ... read more

Not the ten commandments,
these are rules, not sins

Sins are the “fruit” of a man who is alienated from God (Galatians 5:19-21).

Sin is not the act of wrongdoing but a state of alienation from God. Sin is much more than the violation of a taboo or the transgression of an external ordinance. It signifies the rupture of a personal relationship with God, a betrayal of the trust he places in us. We become most aware of our sinfulness in the presence of the holy God (cf. Isa. 6:5; Ps. 51:1... read more

"Love does no harm to a neighbor, therefore love is the fulfillment of the law" (Romans 13:10).

If love is the fulfillment of the law, Once you fall in love you are all ready married in the Eyes of God.

Church and State marriage ceremonies are relatively recent-grafted onto older popular rites whose legitimacy was not dependent on written law.

Marriage by consent
In earlier times, the validity of a marriage depended on the consent of the two parties publicly announced or at least s... read more

Some of my friends over the years, under the belief that I am the smartest person they had ever met, have asked me if I knew the meaning of life. Now that I’m old I feel it is my responsibility to finally explain life, as best I can.

I won’t discuss any religions, as they never made much sense, my understandings are based in logic, physics and philosophy, although, for the sake of brevity I will reserve the proofs of my understanding for individual discussion with whoever feels the need t... read more

Sugar, an aldehyde or ketone derivative of polyhydric alcohol, mostly shows up as either disaccarhides(C12H22O11), or monosaccharides(C6H12O6) found in foods such as candy, fruit, salt, peanut butter, canned vegetables, bouillon cubes, medicines, toothpaste, vitamins, and almost all processed "fat-free" products.

The health dangers ingested sugar creates when habitually imposed upon human physiology are certain. Simple sugars have been observed to aggravate asthma, muster mental illness, ... read more

If you've ever hiked a fourteen thousand-foot peak in the Rocky Mountains, one thought has surely come to mind "How did the settlers of this country do it?" How did they get from the East Coast to the West Coast? Carrying one day's supply of food and water is hard enough. Can you imagine hauling all of your worldly goods with you . . . mile after mile, day after day, month after month? These people had big dreams. They had ambition. They didn't focus on the hardship of getting up the mountain... read more

Enthusiasm will not only make you more productive, but it will lighten burdens and make obstacles easier to overcome. You will have the energy to succeed. It will also make you happier, for as Charles Kingsley wrote, “We act as though comfort and luxury were the chief goals of life, when all that we need to make us happy is something to be enthusiastic about.”

Enthusiasm is contagious, turn on your mental ignition; get excited, and you will find that your enthusiasm will spark others. When... read more

Any day we wish; we can discipline ourselves to change it all. Any day we wish; we can open the book that will open our mind to new knowledge. Any day we wish; we can start a new activity. Any day we wish; we can start the process of life change. We can do it immediately, or next week, or next month, or next year.

We can also do nothing. We can pretend rather than perform. And if the idea of having to change ourselves makes us uncomfortable, we can remain as we are. We can choose rest over... read more

A man found a cocoon for a butterfly. One day a small opening appeared, he sat and watched the butterfly for several hours as it struggled to force its body through the little hole.

Then it seemed to stop making any progress. It appeared as if it had gotten as far as it could and could go no farther. Then the man decided to help the butterfly.

He took a pair of scissors and snipped the remaining bit of the cocoon. The butterfly then emerged easily.

Something was strange. The butter... read more

MAKE THE PIE HIGHER
by George W. Bush

I think we all agree, the past is over.
This is still a dangerous world.
It's a world of madmen and uncertainty
and potential mental losses.

Rarely is the question asked
Is our children learning?
Will the highways of the Internet become more few?
How many hands have I shaked?

They misunderestimate me.
I am a pitbull on the pantleg of opportunity.
I know that the human being and the fish can coexist peacefully.

Who has the “right” to be righteous?

If you know that 2+2 = 4, sure you are right, but so isn’t everyone else, does your knowledge imbue you with some special rights that allow you to climb a higher horse and abuse everyone else, we think not.

But what if you were the only one that knew 2+2 =4, how would you be obtaining new special powers, nothing is different about you. Remember the citizens of the forbidden planet, who’s ch... read more

these works show the economic imperative of sustaining moral capital

Consider the humiliation predator, or Humiliatrix, one who feels that opposite sex are inferior beings in dire need of them controlling their every move. Who’s Intent, upon spotting a prey, who may have accepted some test abasement, is to exploit the submission for personal benefit through, humbling, pussy whipping, ashtrays work, degradation, hazing, shame dressing and being forced to eat humble pie (eewwww). A humiliation predator will control your sexuality and your finances in one swift... read more

Jealousy is here taken to be synonymous with envy. It is defined to be a sorrow which one entertains at another's well-being because of a view that one's own excellence is in consequence lessened. Its distinctive malice comes from the opposition it implies to the supreme virtue of charity. The law of love constrains us to rejoice rather than to be distressed at the good fortune of our neighbour. Besides, such an attitude is a direct contradiction of the spirit of solidarity which ought to cha... read more

The Yellow Paint. (By Robert Louis Stevenson)

In a certain city there lived a physician who sold yellow paint. This was of so singular a virtue that who so was bedaubed with it from head to heel was set free from the dangers of life, and the bondage of sin, and the fear of death for ever. So the physician said in his prospectus; and so said all the citizens in the city; and there was nothing more urgent in men’s hearts than to be properly painted themselves, and nothing they took more deli... read more

NAIROBI (AFP) - A baby hippopotamus that survived the tsunami waves on the Kenyan coast has formed a strong bond with a giant male century-old tortoise, in an animal facility in the port city of Mombassa, officials said.

The hippopotamus, nicknamed Owen and weighing about 300 kilograms (650 pounds), was swept down Sabaki River into the Indian Ocean, then forced back to shore when tsunami... read more

People keep asking me to write this up. So, what I figured out is that most unhappiness is caused by one sided contracts. Little kid are notorious for them. “If I hit that tin can you owe me a million dollars” without waiting for a response the deed is done and the kid is bullshit that you won’t give him a million dollars.

But adults do this all the time, I buy a tie thinking everyone will complement it, no one does and I feel bummed out.
