Pixie is an unusual girl, full of surprises and conundrums.
She is more active and youthful than anyone I have known who shares her quotient of calendar years, and has frequently made me feel old and jaded. In a good way---in a "reminds me why I'm still doing this" sort of way. Her enthusiasm is contagious, and her complete comfort with her body and her sexuality is quite refreshing.
She is beautiful, fiesty, quirky and has a phenomenal, true alto voice. Rare, so rare. Big things come in little packages, and when I say that, I'm not just talking about her big voice in that little pixie frame. I'm talking about her spirit.

I've known Pixie since she met Kalib and I still remeber the stars in his eyes when he first spoke of her. In the years that I've known her, she has always bristled with an enthusiasm that never fails to energize those around her and put a smile on everyone's face!

Please come join me at the Blue Lagoon this Friday night for a benefit show. Gobo, the promoter for The Box, (which I believe is the only Goth/Industrial/Electronica club in Santa Cruz) was diagnosed with Cancer (Lymphoma), and the club is trying to raise money to help him with medical expenses and show support for him.
There will be a combined Audio Terrorist/Cuir Bleu performance and also on the bill for that night is Rick Walker, a fabulous loop artist that we've seen perform in the past. The stuff he does is really cool, and all the artists that night are volunteering our time.
