The Mystery of the Cursor... finally solved!

OK, got this from Pink (and thereby from Muse)...

Another mystery is solved. How does the small arrow in the screen of the computer work when we move the mouse?

Haven't you ever wondered how it works? Now, through the miracle of the high technology, we can see how it is done.

With the aid of a screen magnifying lens the mechanism becomes apparent.

Go to: <www.1-click.jp/

wait for the circle to appear (though note - it may be white-on-white)..then move your cursor around in it... if you don't see a circle, begin to move your cursor around...

Who knew?

Fun Time at the Supperclub!!!

That was a fabulous party!

It was great to see so many faces we knew there! The performers were gorgeous (and oh, did you know one could DO THAT with a hula hoop?), dinner was yummy, the staff was wonderfully attentive and of course, the supperclub itself is just awesome! Thank you again to everyone who helped to make it happen! Gotta run, but more later...

There are a bunch of great photos that I've uploaded to the Cuir Bleu Tribe... this one was taken by our Band Photographer, Duane Stevens...

Hip Hop vs Morris Dancing - cause I couldn't resist!

Thanks for sending this, Sara... I had to propogate it, of course!

www.boreme.com/boreme/fun...ttle-p1.php

It DOES take a while to load properly - and yes, it's work-safe (if you don't turn the volume up too loud... and if your office tollerates the promotion of Morris Dancing) ... <grin>

Fight Homophobia!

I am the girl kicked out of her home because I confided in my mother that I am a lesbian.

I am the prostitute working the streets because nobody will hire a transsexual woman.

I am the sister who holds her gay brother tight through the painful, tear-filled nights.

We are the parents who buried our daughter long before her time.

I am the man who died alone in the hospital because they would not let my partner of twenty-seven years into the room.

I am the foster child who wakes up with nightmares of being taken away from the two fathers who are the only loving family I have ever had. I wish they could adopt me.

I am one of the lucky ones, I guess. I survived the attack that left me in a coma for three weeks, and in another year I will probably be able to walk again.

I am not one of the lucky ones. I killed myself just weeks before graduating high school. It was simply too much to bear.

We are the couple who had the realtor hang up on us when she found out we wanted to rent a one-bedroom for two men.

I am the person who never knows which bathroom I should use if I want to avoid getting the management called on me.

I am the mother who is not allowed to even visit the children I bore, nursed, and raised. The court says I am an unfit mother because I now live with another woman.

I am the domestic-violence survivor who found the support system grow suddenly cold and distant when they found out my abusive partner is also a woman.

I am the domestic-violence survivor who has no support system to turn to because I am male.

I am the father who has never hugged his son because I grew up afraid to show affection to other men.

I am the home-economics teacher who always wanted to teach gym until someone told me that only lesbians do that.

I am the man who died when the paramedics stopped treating me as soon as they realized I was transsexual.

I am the person who feels guilty because I think I could be a much better person if I didn’t have to always deal with society hating me.

I am the man who stopped attending church, not because I don't believe, but because they closed their doors to my kind.

I am the person who has to hide what this world needs most, love.

******************************
I read this on Tanya & Elspeth's blogs and I realized how fortunate I am!

I am a girl who came out as a 17-year-old bisexual, and was given love and support from my parents and friends.

I am a woman who lives in a tollerant area, where I can hold hands with another woman and not be the object of violence

I am a mother whose daughter started the first ever GSA (Gay-straight Alliance) at her middle school!

I am a singer who writes songs about living life as who you are... and people support my music and buy my CDs!

I am fortunate... and many are not. Help get the word out... re-post this, join the HRC (Human Rights Campaign), march in the Pride parades... love and support your LGBT friends, family members and folks you've never met... love whomever you please and be proud of it! Be a force for change.
+++++++++++++++++++++
Live in love, and this world will be a better place.

Re-post this message and pass the word around!

Only One Week til the VIP Event!!!

It's hard to believe... the "Sex Toy" CD Release party at the supperclub is in ONE WEEK!!!

I'm SO excited! I feel like after putting so much hard work into this, we've finally got a GREAT CD to launch out into the world! With songs that are queer-friendly, sex-positive, kinky, fun - everything I wanted to put out there. It's a pretty amazing dream coming true, and I'm hoping to share it with as many of my friends and fans as I can. Wow.

So... can I entice you? Delight you? Surprise you? I invite you...

To Cuir Bleu's Official "Sex Toy" CD Release and VIP Party at the fabulous supperclub sf!

The evening will consist of a 5-course gourmet dinner, two full bars, art gallery, DJ'd dance floor, live circus/performance art (wait til you see our performers!)and of course your favorite band! There will only be one seating for dinner, at 7:30pm so be sure to arrive on time. Oh, yeah - and dinner is served by HOT waiters & waitresses while you lounge decadently on cushions!

Here's How To Get In:
A limited number of the $45 discounted dinner tickets are still available! If you want to come & join us, you need to get your reservation called in ASAP! Call the supperclub at 415.348.0900 and be sure to tell the reservationist you're attending Cuir Bleu's CD release on July 12th and that you're "a friend of the band". That's VERY important - the $45 discount tickets are FOR OUR GUESTS ONLY - a night at supperclub is normally $60!

IMPORTANT: If you get the restaurant's answering machine, leave a message with the above info, your name, the number expected in your party, and a phone number they can reach you at to confirm.

If you can't join us for dinner, I hope you can make it afterwards for the band's show, and to hang out with us. The VIP Reception and band performance will be held in the supperclub's "Salle Prive" following dinner. Doors will open after 10:00pm, with a $5 cover charge. (Dinner guests will not need to pay a cover for the VIP party.)

Come and help us celebrate - It would be really, really cool to have a bunch of cool, kinky friends there! Oh yeah - and be sure to wear something Blue and/or Leather, as that's the theme for the evening!
