Oh, I love that pat and Mr. Pat were picking tomatoes at the Julie Van Arcken wedding. That symbolizes those guys to me. Picking luscious tomatoes from the vines on a glorious day in nice outfits.

It was so darn pretty in Ballard this weekend I almost cried. Trees are orange, skies are blue. The Ballard Farmer's Market is still there every Sunday, with almost all the vendors (except the berry ladies, sadly) still in attendance. The Tall Boys, a very entertaining old-time string band, perform on the sidewalk.
That annoying coffee shop expanded. One latte place on Ballard Avenue and it has to be those people I can't stand.

The Oyster Fest is held on the Fair Grounds, and there's a little historical museum where you can see this twig collection.
