Well we have one more show until the end of the season - what a rush to beat the Renegades, even if it was only once as a corps, but it was a few times for the guard.

I have uploaded some new pics - enjoy!
So my worst fears have come true, it's time to close one chapter and open a new. Things are just not feeling good at the old work place. Been having a rough time dealing with my supervisor. Communication problems and perhaps some personality problems, and oh ya, maybe some problems with honesty and integrity have lead me to conclude that its time I think I move on. Today, after having a confrontational meeting about our communication problems, I was given my annual review.

I know from experience that stores like Victoria's Secrets tend to not pay as much attention, or provide as good of customer service to women or men for that fact who are heavy. But what has slapped me upside the head over the past month or so is just how much differently your treated overall based on your weight. Everywhere I go now, I am treated different. It has been 17 years since I saw my cousin Shannon. There is a 7 year difference between us, me being older of course... I am a 39 year old blonde haired, blued-eyed, bi, Moonchild, born on the cusp of Cancer/Leo, I can pinch quite hard and retreat to my shell - or - I can lead the pack under my Leo influence. I am Extremely happily married to my husband Aubrey for the past 7 years. I have 2 stepchildren, Robyn 17 and Robert 14. I tend to dabble in just about everything so it is hard to just pinpoint - A favorite thing I enjoy doing is marching in Drum Corps in the colorguard (rivercityregiment.org). I am blessed with many friends, All my Chickies (McPherson, Worm & Quackie), Reggie, DPBS and my love Aubrey. I have two dogs, Mollie (bassett hound), Roxie (mutt), 3 cats, Bob, Binx, & Cleo, 1 turtle Shawnee, 1 taranula Homer, 10 fishes with various names... I just graduated in Nov 05 with my Masters Degree in Education and am looking forward to using it! I enjoy all types of music, my tastes are very eclectic. In October 2004 I underwent gastric bypass surgery and as of today I have lost 155 pounds and have a whole new outlook on life - not to mention a tremendous amount of energy - I'm feeling quite fabulous now in a size 8/9 from a size 32.
