There are so many reasons to loveWayWard! The first thing that comes to mind is how he turned me on to some really neat places to shop.....like Walmart, and kmart and truck stops! he's an amazing cook! food preparation is his thing! he just loves to be in the kitchen! He loves the Eagles and Kenny G and his favorite dj' is dj jazzy jeff ! He's a class act! i just wish he was more into dancing and dressing up in costumes! I wish he was more creative though! he hates plays and museums, traveling, roadtrips! I wish i could get him to expand his horizons with exotic foods. He really hates curries and can't stand going to the asian mint! all he ever wants to do is watch football. It's really sad.

Wayward,,,
wayward the world would not be full of way awesome tap dance laugh sessions, if this man was not in it and vibrating a 550,000 miles per second, To stop turn look and listen with a deep genuine grin, and the anguish of life lived, inside for a long time. Out he be, making me cry water of the dead sea, and gasp for air in the rest of the galaxy because I am laughing to hard. Good thing o' toast will be around in that galaxy too. WayWard is such a blessing to my life and to all the lives he touches! This wonderful, wayward man will treat you with love and care while simultaneously encouraging you to be the best you can be and offering his road map if you need directions. He's an awesome friend, an amazing artist and an intelligent imaginer.
To sum it up, he's really good stuff :)

Thank you to everyone that had a hand in this project. In some ways I miss it a lot. In other ways I am so ready to be done with it. Thus, I think Myschevia 2008 will be it's last showing as a whole. If you are the owner of a panel let me know how you want it, if you'd like a wall, etc. If some panels go unclaimed I will put them out there for the first takers. All other parts are going to be cannibalized for other projects.

Speaking of which, my next project is a pink monkey art car conversion kit for my truck. Lots of passenger space, lots of sound and lots of glam! Let me know if you would like to be involved as I am creating a new tribe for that project and will send invites. The working title is "Ooh Ooh". See you at Mystical, St. Patrick's Day Parade, Houston Art Car Parade, Pyropolis and Black Rock City!
Yesterday I went through a good amount of the Fall Gallery Walk put together by DADA (Dallas Art Dealers Association).

Of about 20 galleries I can highly recommend seeing two things: 1) Simeen Ishaque's "Words without voices, forms without bodies" at The MAC (pictured). Very beautiful, haunting. Great use of space, material and color (or technically not color). 2) Richie Budd: New Work at Road Agent. This is the one event that just made me smile when I walked in. Think art car, dance party, bar, etc. Just go see. This video gives a good idea of what he is doing: www.youtube.com/watch All and all I would give the walk 3/5 stars. Meaning, there is good stuff getting created out there. There is room for improvement through. Especially in the area of presentation. Walking into room after room of art on walls with numbered sheet, free wine and cheese, generic art dealer talk gets old really quick. I am thinking next time it would be fun for people we know to get a space (mostly for the night only) setup a theme camp and display our wares and really engage some people. Make them say WTF, "where's the door?" or whatever. Other galleries I found to be worth visiting again: Samuel Lynne Galleries (the paintings by Ray Phillips are nice), Goss-Michael Foundation (Tim Noble & Sue Webster exhibition is definitely original and ends September 30th), Photographs Do Not Bend Gallery and Conduit Gallery (more for their great space than the current exhibition).
