This man is hot. I mean, really, he is hot. And sexy. You know what else, he rocks. He's awesome... I really think so... yeah. He gave me some new sunglasses the other day AND -- his very own bubble gum. Right out of his mouth! I mean, fukkin-A, he is so kewl! Like, who would do that, ya know! I mean, YEAH...

PodMan is not hung like a horse.
Horses are hung like PodMan.

Podman he calls himself? That's silly. That's not his name.
I call him Mrrr-rreeeow. That's his real name.
He has been my human caretaker for my whole life.
He brought me out to California from New York in the front seat of a truck.
He's always taken the best care of me.
When I was really sick he changed my diet, gave me lots of medicine, and I got better.
And I even lost weight with my new food, WHICH I LOVE.
And he makes it all by himself.
I always hang out and bug him when the does that, in case there is any left over.
Nothing like a midnight snack before a good long nap.
Of course, it's my job to wake him up every morning and make sure he doesn't forget to feed me.
But he always greets me with a head scratch.
And when we watch the glowing box he scratches my belly, and that is just BLISSSSSSSS.
*puuuurrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr*
Overall, I'd say he's an excellent human and cat friend.
Mrrrroooowwww.

When you find yourself waking in a strange motel room on the outskirts of town... half bound to the bed post .... belt at the foot of the bed … dazed… confused…drenched in sweat… in twisted sheets…with popcorn stuck to your ass.... the distant humming of a corner fan bringing you to consciousness… licking your bruised lip and jostling your memory… of biting down hard in ecstasy …. You find your mind drifting effortlessly to that dark desert highway…. feeling the cool wind in your hair… before your mind snaps back into reality …. you hear the creak of the floor boards…. The turn of the knob……. Your eyes grow larger…. breath quickening …. Heart racing... frozen in fear or is this wild anticipation…….either way...... at that moment you’ll know…. As the door swings open……….that PodMan cometh…………………Again.

about me
I do art stuff. Things that are creative and expressive. I've been addicted to it my whole life. I used to draw comics when I was a kid. I played in bands for most of my life. I've always been writing things. In the last ten years, since I moved back to socal, I've written a novel, a screenplay and now I'm finishing up a sci-fi rock musical for my theater company in Fullerton, The Hunger Artists. Woooohoooo! It's fun. I haven't written any songs in over ten years and I love it. And this is actually going to be on stage in October. I hope you all can make it. My goal my whole life has been to be a professional writer. I'm not there yes, but I haven't given up. I keep plugging away at new projects. My full time job is graphic design. But really, I think of myself as a writer. I'm just a bad typist.
I'm vegetarian and live with a lovely, sweet cat. I love all animals, but cats are easiest in apartments. And Katie refuses to tolerate other pets in the house. She's the boss, after all.
I'm very open about my life. I hide nothing. Feel free to ask my anything. I might just make up a bunch of shit if I'm in the mood.
These days my life is about self and external exploration. Trying to be open to new ideas, ways of life, places to live, things to do, from careers to hobbies to sex to health.
I've never been to Burning Man, but I plan to one of these years. I've never been to Vegas, and frankly, I don't give a damn. I'd rather read a good book or see a good movie. I'm not into money and don't care much about material things, other than to have a nice comfortable home. I care that my life has enough freedom to make time for my art and that I live somewhere where creative people abound and there are venues to exhibit and explore the arts, and where nature has free rein to cleanse my soul.
I love the mountains. I grew up around the ocean and I've always held it very close to my heart. These days, I'm feeling the pull to be higher up, in cleaner air, free of the noise of ocean cities, with a longer view of the landscape and more greenery, less sand, more birds and critters. I've done my best writing in the mountains. I think that's where I'm headed, one of these days.
This is a fun show. I have a smaller part, but it's funny and the show is funny, and I love working at this theater. It's a totally cool, beautiful space. they like to do shows that have been made into movies, or shows that were movies first then made into shows, or shows that were books, made into movies, then into shows. You get the idea. Which suits me fine because I love movies and shows.
Anyway, This is a fun, funny show. check it out. I also listed it in my events.
The titillatin...

Hi there, Tribe. Remember me?
I don't come around much anymore. But here's an update:
I still don't have a job. It's been about 3 months, and the job market around here is pretty grim, worse than I expected. The thing is, I'm feeling disinclined to go back to my old field. I'm revolted by the whole idea of marketing anymore. When I got into graphic design it was to make art, not sell shit to people who don't need it. Advertising is brainwashing, and I don't want to participate in that sca...

I got fired last week. I believe this is the first time this has ever happened to me. The reason they gave me was I violated company policy about computer/internet usage. Apparently they feel OK Cupid or Facebook, or Youtube or I don't know what are inappropriate, because they didn't specify. But they didn't warn me, or give me any notice, they just cut me off, to my great surprise, handed me a check and showed me the door.
Now, the company I worked for is located in Utah and they are al...

And now, for a point of view from Eric Marchese of the OC Register:
"Scott Keister's original rock-and-roll musical "Attack of the Giant Nuts" has flashes of potential and, in its world premiere staging at The Hunger Artists Theatre Company, it occasionally strikes a glancing blow with something intriguing.
On the whole, though, this retelling of "Invasion of the Body Snatchers" offers leaden comedy in place of the one thing that might actually goose this production: genuine scares.
