oh my god this week is INSANE!  so busy!  something planned for every second.. mostly good, i guess.



anyhoo.  thought i'd just throw this out there:  tonight after my dance class i'm heading over to the knockout to see my friend dave sing with his new (as apposed to his old) joy division cover band.  yes, this is the same friend who looks like ian curtis and, most importantly, DOES THE DANCE!

hey guys.  just letting everyone know that my laptop is dead so now i have even less of the internets at home than i did before.  and work is WAY WAY WAY too busy to catch up with peeps, so please do call me if you miss me!  no idea when i'll have the cash to fix the machine, so let's try this phone thing for a while.

oh my i'm so excited!  i just found out that a pic of me in my panty hoop skirt will be in a fiberarts magazine article about burning man.  tee hee tee hee!  that's huge!

no internet at the new house yet, and work is, of course, crazy (but in a good way) so sorry if you've been wondering how i've been doing.



here is how i've been doing, very quick-like:



last saturday ninarawkstah and chomp came by to help me move and i, uh, kinda fainted.  it was weird.  i blacked out and kinda collapsed to the floor and then had to lie there on my DISGUSTING floor for a long time until i stopped shaking and being dizzy.  yeah.  it sucked.  i'm totally ok now.  kerryveenstra also made valiant efforts to help on saturday but i neglected to give him my address, so he drove around the castro, looking for white vans!  probably found it, too, but then, since i was inside lying down, there was little activity to correspond the van to the apartment.  gah!



i slept my last night at "ian's" place on saturday.  he was out of town.  it was sad and surreal and i felt like crap.  woke up sunday and somehow managed to go to ikea?  that was dumb.  ikea's not a great place to go if you're not in perfect physical condition.  i dropped the obligatory $100++++ dollars one does when they move, at ikea.  i have a brand new portis and kroken, as well as many other stupid $3 items.



monday i moved the cats over.  moving cats is always stressful, but i really did not prepare myself for the horrible emotional pain of taking those cats away from ian.  it was certainly one of the hardest things i've ever had to do.  we both just sobbed.  my friends have been pretty awesome for me lately, but i'm actually pretty worried about ian, too.  if you feel like it, please do check in on him, too.



speaking of the AWESOME friends, i must boast for a moment:  i have the raddest friends.  only my beloved fairyarmadillo and dr_beep truly understand that the FORCE is the only thing that can really make me feel better in times like these.  for no good reason and without warrant, despite my constant whiney phone calls and sleepovers, they still seem to love me enough to buy me this.

i think life is slowly turning back to normal.  well, not normal, but at least some kind of familiar pattern.  i went to dance class for the first time in a month or so on tuesday and i'm going back tonight.



but wanna hear the weirdest news?  i, uh, kinda had the cutest date ever last night.  yes, a date.  and, yes, so damn cute that i can't even tell you about it.  weird, eh?  thems burning man boys move in fast.

me again.  begging again.  so now i cannot lift, uh, things.  my back is mildly fucked up and i really need to be just laying down, but i have to get out of that house.  ian needs me gone and it's just so bad for both of us to have my stuff there.  it's super emotional and awful and traumatic for us to be around each other.   i really don't have that much more, but i can't do it.  i'm so sorry i've been such a sucky friend lately but i promise to make big deposits in the Bank Of Karma in the near future, once this is all smoothed out.



so, yes, i am once again asking for help this saturday.  really all that needs to be done is to take down shelves, clean and spackle and lift a few more boxes that i packed but can't pick up. i might have one or two more 'random shit' boxes to pack, but at this point everything just gets thrown in a box and taken away.



i was thinking i'd be there around 1.  i'm so sorry you guys!  i suck!
