This is becoming TOO Easy........

<div>Welcome to our monthly bitch-slapping of one Rev. Donald Wildmon, affectionately known as either No-Neck or Fat-Neck, depending on whether you are viewing him on a old picture or a new video.

To get you up to speed, Wildmon, and his uber-Xtian American Family Association has been on the case of the Ford Motor Co. ever since they backed out of an agreement to join hands with them in fighting what the AFA calls "the Gay Agenda." This was after meeting with homosexual leaders who told them that if they did capitulate to Wildmon, whatever "agenda" they had would include buy cars from anyone but Ford.

Since then, the AFA has been steering their own boycott.

And every month they crow about their success, taking claim for the company's down sales for the last year and a half.

For instance, this month's missive:

Boycott helps drive Ford sales down 19.1% in July
Ford's support for homosexual agenda hurting company – your phone call needed
Dear Donald,
Sales of all Ford Motor Company automobiles fell 19.1% in July, compared to a year ago. Since AFA began a boycott of Ford in March 2006, sales have dropped in 15 of the 17 months. While the boycott isn't totally responsible for the drop in sales, it has played a major role.
AFA has identified Ford as a leading promoter of the homosexual agenda, including same-sex marriage. AFA began a boycott of Ford after the automobile maker reneged on an agreement with AFA to cease promotion of the homosexual lifestyle. Nearly 750,000 individuals have signed the AFA sponsored Boycott Ford Pledge. For more information on the Ford boycott and to sign the pledge, click here.
Despite the drastic drop in sales, not a single homosexual group has come to Ford's defense nor publicly encouraged homosexuals to purchase Ford automobiles. AFA asked Ford to take a stand similar to that of Wal-Mart, which will not support or oppose controversial issues. Ford declined, choosing to continue financially supporting the homosexual movement.
Ford sales record
for past 17 months.
March 2006 5.0
April 2006 6.6
May 2006 1.9
June 2006 6.8
July 2006 4.1
August 2006 11.6
Sept. 2006 4.7
Oct. 2006 8.1
Nov. 2006 9.7
Dec. 2006 12.8
Jan. 2007 19.0
Feb. 2007 13.0
March 2007 9.0
April 2007 13.0
May 2007 6.8
June 2007 8.1
July 2007 19.1

This is the part where I mention that whatever the AFA is doing, it probably has no effect on Ford's bad fortune....which may not be as bad as it looks.

True Ford is down 19.1% over last year, BUT so is DaimlerChrysler by the same amount (in fact, it's Chrysler Group was only down about 8% whilst Mercedes-Benz was down about 13% [source: http://www.forbes.com/feeds/ap/2007/08/01/ap3976917.html] This probably says more about the fact the Mr. Z sold the wrong end of the company....but that's another blog!)

But let's move further. IF a boycott is to be successful, it has to include the entire company. SO explain to me, Donny dear, why during your vaunted boycott, Ford's crossovers, the Edge and the Lincoln MKX were up 40% (in fact Edge recently was recognized as the industry's top performing new vehicle in J.D. Power and Associates' 2007 Automotive Performance, Execution and Layout Study)? And Ford Escape and Mercury Mariner were up in sales 2%. Not to mention Ford's Gas Guzzlers the Expedition (up 22%) and Lincoln Navigator (up 8%).

In fact the ENTIRE Lincoln line is up in sales for the TENTH MONTH IN A ROW! That's 10 of the 17 months you included in your boycott, dumbass.

And let's not forget Land Rover. Up 19 %. (Source: http://money.cnn.com/news/newsfeeds/articles/prnewswire/CLW06301082007-1.htm)

But the best indicator of the success of any boycott is the bottom line, Rev. And this is where you have met your Waterloo. Second quarter earnings for FMC were $750,000,000. And that gives Ford Corporate its first quarterly PROFIT in two years.

PROFIT, Rev. Wildmon.

Meaning with all your tantrums and all your genuflecting, you still could not bring your archenemy to its knees. They made money during your so-called boycott.

Maybe you should expand your efforts. It'll be good for the economy.

Or better yet, just give up. To be honest, I have better things to do every first of the month.

Still........I enjoy it so!</div>

Who I am...who I'm looking for..

<div>This posting is probably going to be a ramble, partially because late last night I was robbed. Nothing earth shattering. Most of the stuff will be replaced in time. But there were some sentimental things that were taken that can never be replaced, as well as some materials that set my business back about 3 months.

Thank you very much, you clump of fungus. I may forgive you. In time.

Thing is that it was one of those things that caused me to re-asses my life at 2:00 in the morning. However, unlike recent events concerning personalities who have been scared straight into socially-acceptable zombie hood, my reassessment has led me to a revelation.

There is no room on this world for me. None.

Therefore, I am going to have to create my own. And I am looking for people to join me.

This world....and this country have become anti-freedom conclaves. Oh we talk a good game about freedom, but we do not really believe it ourselves. 37% of us bother to vote in the midterm elections, yet commentators both left and right rave about "the American People." More people voted for the last American I-Dull than voted for our leaders. And said "leaders," knowing that The People don't give a shit, do the bidding of those who do...the corporations, the Big Money People. They are the ones who put it on the line for what they want. The People don't. Squeaky wheel, guys.

We yell and scream about "special treatment" given to a heiress, when there are people running around with as many as NINETEEN REPEAT DUI CONVICTIONS! And somehow I suspect none of them are named Hilton.

Religious perverts...as in those who pervert religion....have infiltrated every nook and cranny of American society with a stated purpose...to force you into their misguided mangling of the True Word.....or else. (See: http://www.counterbias.com/891.HTML) .

That, and a lot of stuff has caused me to realize that if I continue on my present path, I will go mad. And I cannot be the castrated, homogenized liar that society wants me to be. So I feel that I must separate myself from so-called polite society.

Right now it must be done in stealth to continue to exist at all, but l know that there are people feel the way I feel. Those are the people I am looking for

But before I go on, let me tell you what you are getting into. I am bisexual. I am a male. I am currently single, though there might be two people, plus a couple with a slight interest. I am in Laos Angel es. I have a job and a networking business.

I am pro-sex, pro-porn, pro-kink, pro-freedom (actually pro-America...the America it was until the Noes got hold of if), pro-capitalist, extreme liberal, poly, truly-open minded. I am in my fifty-third year. I am husky (big stomach), romantic (big heart), and a good lover (big.......er, good lover). Nothing shocks me, except maybe how gullible the majority if people are.

I am looking for like-minded bisexual (preferably bi women or couples where both are bi), not ashamed of their sexuality, but also understanding how the world works against someone like that. You should have a optimistic nature, but also have a more than healthy skepticism of life. You should be sexually honest with yourselves and those very close to you. I'm not looking for substance or human abusers (unless the abuse is consensual ;-) ).

There is a lot more, but I would like to get to know you first. That means that if you come at me with a blank profile, thank you....but no. Same if you are masquerading as a porn site or a sales site (no problem with you trying to sell your wares, but be honest about it!!).

And also be accessible...don't block a message if I send one to you.

Oh, and I will gladly accept anyone from America, Canada, Mexico, Asia, Australia, or Europe.

Extra brownie points if you live in or near Southern California.

Basically that's it. Who I want. What I want.

Eventual goal: First, a soulmate (or a group of soulmates). Eventually, a community where we do not have to worry about being ostracized for the fact that we are sexual.

Sounds like a nice idea?

Join me.

Why?

<div>Why?

This is the most troublng question anyone can ask. Its the reason kids get annoying when they ask it, becuase thet are trying to get to the ultimate why. The reason for everything. Maybe its the reason that most people either do not ask the question anymore. Or keep asking it until they go mad.

I am going mad.

And these are the questions that drive me there..

Why do we feign patriotism, yet refuse to do the one thing that sets Americans apart from other nations.....vote?

Why, understanding supply and demand, kwwp buying three-and-a-half-buck gas?

Why are we so sexually backward, especially male Americans?

Why can we not admit who we are sexually?

Why do we say we want to end poverty, but we don't do anything to better ourselves financially

Why is bisexuality in women encouraged and reviled in men?

Why, if two substance is deemed dangerous, one is legal and the other is not, why legalize or illegalize both.

Why do we shut out the things that can save us?

Why do we build up people, the tear then down, and laugh at thier corpses?

Why do we continue to persecute people based on who they are, not what they did?

Why are there no leaders I can follow?

Why is there no common sense?

Why is there no sense?

Answers please.</div>

<div>
I knew it was going to happen.

I have talked about it for sometime. The fact that there has been a roving band of people, who, for what ever reason, are bound an determined to find people who seem to color outside of the lines they have set, and destroy them.

I have seen it happen twice this week. Once to someone you know, and once to someone I know.

I am finding out that, as a good friend told me, there are some truths that people do not want to know, and that telling those thuths can cost your voice, your freedom, and possibly your life.

As you have probably read if you are a regular visitor, I have been very outspoken about a lot of things. In fact, I have been pretty fearless. But tonight, I am very much afraid.

I am afraid that we have come to a point where thought CAN be policed. A point where Amendment One means nothing. A place where, whether you are a real person or even a fictional one, if you do not follow "thier" script, you will dissapear.

These things are not the fault of content providers, past the point that there are few, if any, who have the balls to stand up the true bad guys. Those are the moralists, the Armagedonists, the Prude Patrol...whatever name you want to give them, who will stop at nothing to force you into that nothingess, that dishonesty that is conformity.

Two of those nonconformists are gone. One dead, the other...a close friend...dissapeared. Another may be gone soon with a stroke of a pen. And I have this feeling I may be next.

I will be around for as long as I can, but in case I somehow do a Claude Rains impersonation, you'll know why.

<div>Anna Nicole Smith dies in Florida at 39 By SUZETTE LABOY, Associated Press Writer 46 minutes ago

Anna Nicole Smith, the curvaceous blonde whose life played out as an extraordinary tabloid tale — Playboy centerfold, jeans model, bride of an octogenarian oil tycoon, reality-show subject, tragic mother — died Thursday after collapsing at a hotel. She was 39.

She was stricken while staying at the Seminole Hard Rock Hotel and Casino and was rushed to a hospital. Edwina Johnson, chief investigator for the Broward County Medical Examiner's Office, said the cause of death was under investigation and an autopsy would be done on Friday.

Just five months ago, Smith's 20-year-old son, Daniel, died suddenly in the Bahamas in what was believed to be a drug-related death.

Seminole Police Chief Charlie Tiger said a private nurse called 911 after finding Smith unresponsive in her sixth-floor room at the hotel, which is on an Indian reservation. He said Smith's bodyguard administered CPR, but she was declared dead at a hospital. Later Thursday, two sheriff's deputies carried out at least eight brown paper bags sealed with red evidence tape from Smith's hotel room.

Dr. Joshua Perper, the chief Broward County medical examiner who will perform the autopsy, said if her death was from natural causes, the findings would likely be announced quickly. He cautioned, however, that definitive results could take weeks.

"I am not a prophet, and I cannot tell you before the autopsy what I am going to find," he said.

Through the '90s and into the new century, Smith was famous for being famous, a pop-culture punchline because of her up-and-down weight, her Marilyn Monroe looks, her exaggerated curves, her little-girl voice, her ditzy-blonde persona, and her over-the-top revealing outfits.

Recently, she lost a reported 69 pounds and became a spokeswoman for TrimSpa, a weight-loss supplement. On her reality show and other recent TV appearances, her speech was often slurred and she seemed out of it. Some critics said she seemed drugged-out.

"Undoubtedly it will be found at the end of the day that drugs featured in her death as they did in the death of poor Daniel," said a former attorney for Smith in the Bahamas, Michael Scott.

Another former Smith attorney, Lenard Leeds, told the celebrity gossip Web site TMZ that Smith "always had problems with her weight going up and down, and there's no question she used alcohol." Leeds said it was no secret that "she had a very troubled life" and had "so many, many problems."

Smith attorney Ron Rale told The Associated Press that he had talked to her on Tuesday or Wednesday, and she had flu symptoms and a fever and was still grieving over her son. He dismissed claims her death was related to drugs as "a bunch of nonsense."

"Poor Anna Nicole," he said. "She's been the underdog. She's been besieged ... and she's been trying her best and nobody should have to endure what she's endured."

The Texas-born Smith was a topless dancer at a strip club before she entered her photos in a search contest and made the cover of Playboy magazine in 1992. She became Playboy's playmate of the year in 1993. She was also signed to a contract with Guess jeans, appearing in TV commercials, billboards and magazine ads.

In 1994, she married 89-year-old oil tycoon J. Howard Marshall II, owner of Great Northern Oil Co. In 1992, Forbes magazine estimated his wealth at $550 million.

In a 2005 interview with ABC, Smith recalled meeting Marshall at what she called a "gentleman's club" in Houston. "He had no will to live and I went over to see him," she said. "He got a little twinkle in his eyes, and he asked me to dance for him. And I did."

Marshall died in 1995 at age 90, setting off a feud with Smith's former stepson, E. Pierce Marshall, over his estate. A federal court in California awarded Smith $474 million. That was later overturned. But in May, the U.S. Supreme Court revived her case, ruling that she deserved another day in court.

The stepson died June 20 at age 67. But the family said the court fight would continue.

Smith starred in her own reality TV series, "The Anna Nicole Show," in 2002-04. Cameras followed her around as she sparred with her lawyer, hung out with her personal assistant and interior decorator, and cooed at her poodle, Sugar Pie. She also appeared in movies, performing a bit part in "The Hudsucker Proxy" in 1994.

In a statement, Playboy founder Hugh Hefner said: "I am very saddened to learn about Anna Nicole's passing. She was a dear friend who meant a great deal to the Playboy family and to me personally."

Smith's son died Sept. 10 in his mother's hospital room in the Bahamas, just days after she gave birth to a daughter.

An American medical examiner hired by the family, Cyril Wecht, said he died accidentally of a combination of methadone and two antidepressants. Last month, a Bahamas magistrate scheduled a formal inquiry into the death for March 27.

Meanwhile, the paternity of Smith's now 5-month-old daughter remained a matter of dispute. The birth certificate lists Dannielynn's father as attorney Howard K. Stern, Smith's most recent companion. Smith's ex-boyfriend Larry Birkhead was waging a legal challenge, saying he was the father. An emergency hearing in the paternity case was scheduled for Friday in Los Angeles.

Lawyers were expected to discuss an emergency motion filed by Birkhead's attorney seeking DNA from Smith's body, Rale said. The reasons for the motion were not immediately clear, but an attorney for Stern, James T. Neavitt, was frustrated.

"There's no question about her being the mother," he said. "So what's the purpose of the DNA testing? Why do they need her DNA?"

Debra Opri, the attorney who filed Birkhead's paternity suit, said Birkhead "is devastated. He is inconsolable, and we are taking steps now to protect the DNA testing of the child. The child is our No. 1 priority."

The legal complications of Smith's estate could take years to unravel, an expert said. Christopher Cline of the law firm Holland and Knight, who is an estate planning specialist, said he has never seen a case "with more moving parts."

Outstanding questions include not only the paternity of her daughter, but if she died with a will and how her death will affect the lawsuit pending against the Marshall estate. It also wasn't clear where she legally lived when she died.

"It's a really large legal quagmire," Cline said.

Smith was born Vickie Lynn Hogan on Nov. 28, 1967, in Houston, one of six children. Her parents split up when she was a toddler, and she was raised by her mother, a deputy sheriff.

She dropped out after 11th grade after she was expelled for fighting, and worked as a waitress and then a cook at Jim's Krispy Fried Chicken restaurant in Mexia.

She married 16-year-old fry cook Bill Smith in 1985, giving birth to Daniel before divorcing two years later.

AP Special Correspondent Linda Deutsch in Los Angeles and Associated Press Writers Sarah Larimer in Hollywood, Fla., and Ana Cholo in Los Angeles contributed to this story.

Happy now?

We always seem to find a way to take care of those who do not conform. Such as it was with Anna.

She refused from day one to conform to the retristrive norms we put on others and ourselves. She was audaicous and bodacious. It was nice when she was a curiousity, but when she showed that she really meant it, it made us uncomfortable.

So we sought to destroy her. By riducle, mostly. We kept the pressure up because we felt that eventually she would conform.

They all do eventually. Jerry Lee. Mick, maybe. Courtney...but we had to drag her to the edge.

And those who don't.....well, Elvis, Marilyn, Hank Sr. Comform or die.

Now you might think it odd I mention Anna in the same breath as the aforementioned, but think. How many people you know who have decided to live thier lives without your permission to do anything. Maybe even you.

I have lost good friends like this. One possibly just recently. I tend to gravitate to those people because I am like them. As Wednesday Addams put it, "I am.....strange...and unusual."

So was Anna.

So tonight Anna is a peace. The world feigns sorrow, but truly rejoices, because we have, in essence made an example of her. The autopsy may show a medical problem, maybe suicide. But we know what drove her there. We have made her an example. Behave, or suffer the consequences.

One wonders who's next.

Me?

Or maybe you?

    </a>
<div>This is SERIOUS SHIT, people. It could affect things like Yahoo Groups, among other things. And I personally am sick of seeing all "sex offenders" lumped into one category. A prostitute, two age peer teen lovers, gays, strippers who give lap dances where it's illegal, people busted for oral sex where it's illegal, people busted for SM activity -- all of these are being put into the same hamper as child molestors and rapists. I personally think that's wrong. There's a lot wrong with these proposed laws, actually -- and none of them kept Republican Rep. Mark Foley from hot chatting underage pages right in the middle of Congress...

Senator Proposes Mandatory "Obscenity" Reporting for Blogs, Mailing Lists, and Beyond
by Darklady

WASHINGTON, DC -- Webmasters and web denizens who thought things got confusing and paranoid after the government strengthened and began enforcing its 2257 regulations may look back on those days with fondness if Sen. John McCain (AZ-R) gets his way. Legislation drafted and presented by McCain would require that commercial websites, as well as personal blogs, mailing lists, and more, conform to federal obscenity reporting guidelines or face fines of up to $300,000.

Fear of such a possible development was likely behind the massive policy changes that community building websites such as Tribe.net underwent earlier in 2006 and, given some of the bill's requirements, such fear may not have been misplaced. McCain's proposal, emotionally named the "Stop the Online Exploitation of Our Children Act," affects, among other things, any internet presence that offers user profiles by forcing them to delete pages belonging to sex offenders, apparently with no consideration given to what their offense was or whether they have served their time. According to McCain during a speech on the Senate floor, these changes are necessary because "technology has contributed to the greater distribution and availability, and, some believe, desire for child pornography. "

No mention was made about those offenders whose crimes involved adults or mutually consensual, but illegal, activity. Additionally, the proposed law mandates that any form of suspected "obscenity" or child pornography be reported to National Center for Missing and Exploited Children, with that information being forwarded to the appropriate legal authorities. Webmasters would be required to retain any "information relating to the facts or circumstances" for a minimum of six months. Those who report suspected criminal activity would be immune from civil or criminal liability under the proposed law, so long as they followed the specified procedures precisely. Internet Service Providers are already required by law to report suspected child porn or obscenity, but McCain increases penalties and expands regulation to not only commercial web presences but to individual bloggers or those who provide bulletin board discussion areas and user forums on their websites.

The Electronic Freedom Foundation was quick to condemn the proposal, with attorney Kevin Bankston stating that he was "concerned that there is a slipper slope here," according to News.com. "Once you start creating categories of industries that must report suspicious or criminal behavior, when does it stop?" he asked. While the answer to Bankston's question is unknown, what is known is that McCain's proposal would mandate reports from any content hosting service, any website with a message board, any social-networking site, any email service, any instant-messaging service, any chat room, any domain name registration service, any internet search service, any electronic communication service, and any image or video-sharing service.

An anonymous McCain aid stated that any site or service that "you'd have to join up or become a member of to use" regardless of free or pay status would fall under the proposed law's jurisdiction. This includes, but certainly is not restricted to, so-called "social-networking" sites such as MySpace, LiveJournal, Friendster, as well as other membership sites including Amazon.com, Slashdot.com, Gamespot.com, CNET.com, MP3.com, and any other site that allows public profiles.

Although some, including Kate Dean of the U.S. Internet Service Provider Association says that the organizations membership appreciates McCain's work to make reporting procedures more clear, others believe that the involvement of private individuals will make things more complex, in part because what constitutes child pornography is not entirely certain. The recent indictment of Alabaman photographer Jeff Pierson on child pornography charges, for instance, indicates that nudity is not required for an image of a minor to be deemed pornographic. Pierson's work features clothed underage models deemed "provocative" by prosecutors -- but taken with parental consent. The bill would also create a federal registry containing "any email address, instant-message address, or other similar internet identifier" possessed by anyone convicted of a sex crime. Those who refuse to provide the government with this information would face penalties of up to a decade in prison. The information would then be used, presumably, by membership sites forced to purge themselves of anything "associated" with that person.

Regardless of Attorney General Alberto Gonzales' recent political grandstanding on the topic, studies have shown that the online solicitation of minors has dropped during the past five years, even while social-networking sites have increased. Because of this, Bankston insists that "This constitutionally dubious proposal is being made apparently mostly based on fear or political considerations, rather than on the facts." Such concerns do not appear to be of interest to Congress, however, given that the Deleting Online Predators Act, another fuzzily worded bill that appears to target social-networking sites without actually defining its terms, was approved this past summer by the U.S. House of Representatives in a 410 - 15 vote.

McCain, who scored 31 points out of a 100 point total in a News.com election guide concerning technologically friendly legislation, will be in good company during the coming year. Gonzales and the FBI intent to continue to push for mandatory ISP data retention and Sen. Chuck Schumer (NY-D) plans to join McCain by jointly introducing anti-sex offender and social-networking legislation in January.

---------------------------------------------------------------

Now, my turn. remember on 360 when I said that I had a forboding of doom? Well, this is it, guys. The aim of this is NOT to trap sexual predators, but to kill sexual discussion on the web. This will target sites like this one that do allow sexuall frankness in some way, shape or form. This is an attempt to kill the budding Third Sexual Revolution. And they may well succeed.

This is being talked about under stealth. If it was not for the eagle eye of DarkLady, no one would have known about this. Talk radio will not talk about it. Liberal talk radio is too busy with Iraq. And considering the fact that Chuck Schumer, paper liberal from NY, is joining this, unless we act now, it will be a done deal.

As I have always said, at the words "Child Protection" to anything, and you can pass the most draconian legislation possible, instead of actually dealing with the real issue.

Did you hear about Paul Barnes, the megachurch pastor who quit because he was about to be outed as gay? In his mea culpa to his congregation, he said he has been dealing with homosexual feeling since age 5. AGE FIVE, GUYS! And if this one person was dealing with sexual feelings at that age, how many other were....or are? Instead of throwing it under the rug, is it possible to deal honestly with this openly?

And for adults who are sexually free, sexually liberal. For those who are naturists. How many closets can they build for you.

Add to the fact that a malicious worm is attacking MySpace thru Quicktime, and a compelling case can be made that a concerted attack on those outside of the norms of society may have begun, with the Iraq War as a cover.

Unless we do something now, the freedoms we have enjoyed, already limited, may dissapear. If you have not written or called your congressperson, do so today. Also contact Mr. McCain, and let him know that your attack on free speech will be noted if you run for President.-polybi

<div>This one is going to be short, because I d not have much to say right now.

Up until recently, I held parties for sex-positive bisexuals here in Los Angeles. I am finding that there are many who are not as interested in getting together as before. Now I am finding I have to end the parties next month for lack of interest. My frustration has threatend a friendship I treasure.

All in all, not a good day.

As I find that I am separating more and more from so-called "normal" society, the loneliness of it all hurts more and more. It is hard to find someone who thinks even remotely like me, and the frustration builds and builds. Add to that, how I feel about politics, sexuality, society....plus the dread of the general dumbth that is settling in to this country, plus my financial situation....and you have a man who really is at the end of a very short rope.

I have online friends who I love and care about very much. I will continue to love them and persue friendship and more with them. But I need someone who is here. WHo will love me here. Who will feel as close to how I feel about life as I do. WHo will be as close to some of my friends as I am....and for many, that is very close.

I am tired and alone and hurting and out of ideas. I welcome some from you.

The American Taliban Strikes Again

<div>I am beginning to wonder if there is anyone left in America with any backbone.

The American Xian Taliban, under thier censorship arm....The American Family ASSociation...has chalked up another victim: The National Broadcasting Company.

Next month, NBC plans to air a video version of Madonna's "Reinvention Tour." The crowning piece of the concert is a scene where Madonna, dress demurely with thons on head, stands on a stylized cross and sings "Live to Tell."

As always, Ms Ciccione knows how to put on a show, and make a point....a point not shared by Rev. Donald "NoNeck" Wildmon and his Mississippi Mudhens of the AFA. They put on thier usual full court press, and after weeks of standing firm, the Peacock acaputulated.

Note the statement that fouled my mail this morning:

AFA supporters have won a great victory!

The efforts of AFA Online
supporters has forced NBC to cancel a scene in the upcoming
Madonna special in which she mocks the crucifixion of Christ! More than 750,000
AFA supporters emailed NBC asking for the scene to be deleted from the special
which is scheduled to air in November.

NBC saw a potential loss of
$25,000,000 and decided to edit out the scene. We were effective because we
stuck together and combined our voices. Our supporters not only emailed NBC, but
they also called their local NBC stations.

Those stations contacted NBC
and the network listened. The scene is gone!

Another one bites the dust.

And do not think these are just shocked faithful who managed to change NBC's thinking. Note the language: not persuaded, or got them to rethink. the word they used...the word THEY used is FORCED. The AFA, IMHO, is nothing more than and intellectual Al Quida, reaking terror on companies that do not capitulate to thier warped way of thinking.

And before any judgment is passed, here is the scene in question. It was taped by a fan at the concert, so pardon the quality, but you get the idea.

http://www.youtube.com/v/RW0-yd3NQC8

Did this offend you? That's unfortunate, but it's your right. And it is your right to not watch it or turn away. But viewers will not have that right, thanks to the AFA. And that is exactly the point. These people do not believe you have any rights. That you must think they way they think whether you like it or not. They do not even look at the point of the scene: that if we are TRUE Christians we have to do something to help His Creation who cannot help themselves. But where are the true Xians of the AFA. They're worried that some pop singer is mocking Christ.

Look at the full scene. It is not Madonna who is mocking Christ. It is Donald Wildmon.

For the last six months I have been posting about NoNeck and the AFA. And there are time that I wonder if anyone listens. This is the second time a year that NBC has bowed to this idiot. Boycotting doen't work because they'll just attack you. This is how they work. They do not care about you. They do not even care about Christ. They care only about thier narrow, perverted view of Chritianity and thier want to force every living being to think like they do. Not just every living American. Every living being.

Whether they like it or not.

And these vermin has infested themselves into some of the highest places of business, goverment, education. These are the clowns that are running the White House for God's sake.

But there is one company is showing backbone. Ford Motor Company, crippled by slow sales, wondering if they will even survive, is holding firm against these clowns.

In a mailing just a few days ago, NoNeck bemoaned the fact that Ford refuses to sit up and beg"

Ford Motor Company continues to financially support the pro-homosexual
agenda.

The latest issue of The Advocate, a homosexual publication, heavily
promoted Shortbus, a new film containing graphic, explicit pornographic
homosexual sex. Ford, as it has done for years, supported The Advocate with a
full-page ad.

Ford told AFA they would pull their advertising support for homosexual
media, then reneged on the agreement after a handful of homosexual leaders
confronted Ford.

Ford also refused the request of 44 pro-family groups to remain
neutral in the battle over homosexual marriage. Ford has decided to support the
homosexual agenda rather than remain neutral. Ford's actions have made it
perfectly clear that the company has no intentions of ending its support for the
homosexual agenda, regardless of the economic loss to the company.

From redefining family to include homosexual marriage, to giving hundreds
of thousands of dollars to support homosexual groups, to forcing employees to
attend "diversity" training on how to promote the acceptance of homosexuality,
to sponsoring Gay Pride Day parades, to sponsoring a "commitment (marriage)
ceremony," to giving thousands of dollars to support homosexual magazines, Ford
leads the way.

The goal of every homosexual organization supported by Ford is to legalize
homosexual marriage. For detailed information on Ford’s total commitment to the
homosexual agenda, go to BoycottFord.com. Ford brands include Ford, Mercury, Lincoln,
Mazda, Volvo, Jaguar, and Land Rover.

May I repeat: Ford brands include Ford, Mercury, Lincoln, Mazda, Volvo, Jaguar, and Land Rover. That means, go out and buy one! Or two!

It is time, long time, that this decaying fecal clump is dealt with. And there is, at least, one way.

AFA operates, supposedly, under the 503c tax-exemption code. However, the BBB's charitable watchdog agency says that the AFA fails to meet 4 very impottant standards out if 20 set for charity accountability:

Board members are compensated
They REFUSE to make public audited financial statements
They REFUSE to make public an annual statement
They REFUSE to link to thier most recent IRS 990 form.
On top of that, according to www.give.org, the BBB Wise Giving Alliance requested but did not receive complete information on the organization’s governance and oversight, effectiveness measures, finances, solicitation materials, donor privacy, and fundraising disclosures and is unable to verify the organization's compliance with the following 11 Standards for Charity Accountability: 1, 3, 5, 6, 12, 13, 14, 15, 18, 19, and 20.

Full report can be found here: http://charityreports.give.org/Public/Report.aspx?CharityID=678

That odor eminating from Tupelo is definatly the smell of cod.

What this means is that the AFA may......and I stress this....may.....have some challenges in this area. Challenges that maybe the Senate and the Congress should look into.

If Wildmon and his cronies are willing to force companies to do thier bidding, we as citizens must force Wildmon and the AFA to be accountable.

You might want to write them and strongly request that they come clean with thier finances...especially if you disagree with the points of this blog and want to contribute. The leas you would want would be full disclosure, right?

You may also contact your Congressperson and Senator, and ask them to look into this. Especially if they're up for re-election in a couple of weeks.

Also, you may want to contact NBC and let them know your displeasure over this and maybe they would reconsider....remember there are more of us than there are of them. Go to http://www.nbc.com/Footer/Contact_Us/, scroll downand select "movies and specials."

And finally, Ford would need your support. Buy thier cars, yes, but you can also send them a short message telling them how positive it is that you are standing up to these goons. https://secure.ford.com/en/support/EmailUs.htm?&amp;strTopic=Other&amp;strQuestions=&amp;strFirstName=&amp;strLastName=&amp;strEmail=

The Ever Encroaching Ignorance....

<div>--------------------------------------------------------------------------------

I have been trying to find a way to explain dealing with the ever expanding ignorance that seems rampant in this country. From sex to politics to just plain living, it seems that even the more intellegent of us are being sucked into the vortex of ignorance. Maybe it is easier...not having to think gives the brain a rest...or something.

Then this comes along in the LA Times. A freelance writer's brother is killed. She responds by calling on a ban on handguns. What follows defies description. I offer it to you as evidence only. What Jenny Price faced on one week on the net is what I have to face on in cyber and in real time every day. Maybe you do too. The sad thing is that there seems to be nothing you can do about it. Be quiet and the ignorance continues.....speak out and you are Pearl Harbored.

I truly am at the point of losing my mind over all this. Between this and the equally increasing conversion from active alive people to walking corpses, I feel I am the only one left. There are days when I feel my head about to explode over this.

So if Jenny Price feels that she was skewerd....if she thought she felt what ignorance was that week, she has no earthly idea whatsoever....none.....
http://www.latimes.com/news/opinion/la-op-price13aug13,0,4206961.story?coll=l...
From the Los Angeles Times
Targeted by Gun Nuts

After she wrote a gun-control op-ed, the writer got threats and worse: a blogosphere hit job on her murdered brother.
By Jenny Price
Jenny Price is a freelance writer and research scholar at the UCLA Center for the Study of Women.

August 13, 2006

'A SPINELESS retard with the character of pond scum." A "whacko," "greedy un-American idiot," "fascist," "whining liberal" and "nasty little gun grabber."

Those are just some of the names I've been called since I published an Op-Ed article in the Washington Post to commemorate the fifth anniversary of my brother's death. After briefly stating that David and his fiancee were shot and killed by the fiancee's mother, who was angry that she had to move out of their L.A. apartment, I went on to argue for a national ban on handguns. The gun control lobby, led by the Brady Campaign, has worked passionately to make guns safer and to regulate their sales. But such measures, I contended, will never significantly reduce the annual U.S. death toll by firearms — 12,000 — because most murderers use legally purchased handguns and know how to operate them safely.

A couple of days later, while procrastinating on a writing assignment, I Googled my article. And so began my strange, weeklong trip through chat rooms on such pro-gun websites as keepandbeararms.com freerepublic.com, packing.org and rightnation.us.

I was not surprised by the insults directed at me. I'm familiar with the name-calling in gun control debates: "stupid," "beyond stupid," "liar," "criminal-coddling leftist scumbag," "Los Angeles coward."

I also expected threats: "OK beotch … come get my gun … bullets first."

I was hardly startled by the misogyny: "bitch," "broad" and "bimbo," but also "sweetums," "Miss Jenny" and "Jenny honey" (I'd rather be called a "spineless retard with the character of pond scum").

The sheer meanness could be breathtaking, but it was not unexpected: "Gee, Jenny dear, perhaps they just needed killin.' "

I calmly read accusations that my true goal in writing the article was to sue gun companies and profit from my brother's death. The barrage of counter-statistics was standard too, as were the paeans to the 2nd Amendment and the endless iterations of "guns don't kill people — people kill people."

But objections to my account of my brother's murder left me speechless. There were two sorts of challenges.

First, many chat-room members declared that the killing had to have been justified and was most likely an act of self-defense.

One participant, "armymarinedad," wrote: "I would submit it was a liberal mind-set." Liberals, many others agreed, are mean to their parents — mean enough to warrant homicide. "One can't help wondering," went one response to armymarinedad, "what the mother had done in a previous life to deserve … a Liberal for a daughter."

The second challenge was that I had made up the story of my brother's murder. "Law-abiding gun owners simply do not commit crimes," "Gunslinger" posted — logic hard to refute. But like David's killer, thousands of law-abiding citizens annually become criminals when they pick up a firearm and shoot other people.

"Chances are very good," wrote "Plutarch" on freerepublic.com, "that her brother, if she has one, is alive and well."

Plutarch and his freerepublic fellows Googled my story about David — and were encouraged when they came up empty because they were certain that "this remarkable murder" would have received massive media attention.

"I love to catch them [liberals] lying!" declared "mad_as_he$$."

Lamentably, a double homicide by a friend or relative of the victims is an unremarkable news event in Los Angeles County, where 17 people, on average, are shot to death every week. The Times' and Daily News' stories were brief and buried on inside pages. Because the police took all day to notify our family, David's name did not appear in them.

No matter. The freerepublic.com gang Googled some more, LexisNexised, scoured The Times' archives for headlines, dug up Social Security records. They wondered whether David and I had different last names: A "rabid feminist" like me, of course, would never use her husband's name. But "Ghengis (Alexander was a wuss!)" surmised that David and I had different fathers because that was so "common in California in the '60s."

In the midst of my detective work, I received an e-mail from a medical doctor who praised my "terrific opinion piece" and asked for "a link to any newspaper accounts." But I quickly determined that Plutarch had sent the e-mail using his real name (I can Google too).

Plutarch found a photograph of me on the Internet and posted it on the freerepublic site. He worked so hard on the case that I was rooting for him to be the guy who finally figured it out. But just after he promised his colleagues that he'd call the L.A. County coroner's office, "DakotaRed" posted a recent newspaper piece about my family that mentioned the murder. The freerepublic discussion stopped abruptly, and the chat rooms on the other pro-gun sites soon moved on as well.

So ended the efforts to prove that David either deserved to be shot to death or that he never existed.

The discussions left me profoundly sad. "You know," a friend tried to reassure me, "these are just guys who sit in front of their computers at 3 a.m. in their underwear."

But when these gun-obsessed guys in their underwear talk to like-minded guys, they build a community that reinforces a level of intolerance that is off the charts. After all, the Internet doesn't create community. People create community — and how the Internet is used depends on the people who use it.

I'd spent a week in the company of people with closed minds and cold hearts. And what saddens me most is that vengeful intolerance is all too common and leads people every day to reach for a handgun to kill people.

When the National Rifle Assn. commits itself to spreading peacefulness and tolerance among its members, I'd be all for it. Meanwhile, do you really want these people on these websites (and 40 million other people in the country) to have guns?

I can cite statistics, and I can tell you why the right to carry a 9-millimeter semiautomatic handgun with a 10-shot clip is not guaranteed by the 2nd Amendment. But the paranoia and bone-chilling hatred that spew from such sites as packing.org and freerepublic.com make for an equally — and unusually — effective argument for a ban on handguns.</div>

    </a>
<div>The parable played out to me at a local Wendy's.

I had just finished my lunch, and I stepped outside to catch a bus. Now at Wendy's and other fast-food places they make a big deal about makeing your food to order. So, if you don't want something, or if you want extra, you usually get it, no problem (unless they get it wrong, and I have a whole 'nuther screed on Customer Service I'm workking up.)

Anyway, I look back and I see this guy. He had just ordered a burger. And I see him discarding a tomato. Nothing wrong with that, unless you are a big lycopene promoter. But he could have easily told them not to add the tomato. Or if he did and they added it anyway he could have gone back and make a new one. But no. He just ordered his burger with no consideraton of ordering it special.

He took it as it came.

A perfect example of what we have become.

Corruption, repression, sloth. All of these thing have been ramped up America in the last few years. Yet we sit on our fannies and do nothing. The mess in Washington could have easily been fixed in 2004 if we got off our asses and went to the polls. But no...not interested. (Funny, though. 65 million of us voted for some would be Holiday Inn lounge singer on That Talent Show on Fox....more than anyone else voted for a PRESIDENT!) Opportunities come everyday for us to make an impact, to voice opinion, to take a stand. But we would rather sit in our La-Z-Boys and wait for...what, death?....

Your ability to express yourself is being taken away. Our choices nullified. But you do no twant to be bothered. Ahhhhh, but you do have people you can blame for your situtation, don't you? Illegal aliens, blacks, uppity women, women who will not cyber for you, Al Franken, Bill O'Reilly, maybe even God. One, some, all, or maybe more have been responsible for your life being.....well, a non-life. Except for you. The one person who HAS the power to change things for themselves and others...YOU.

I call about 200 people a day in my market research job. It's not the "I'm not interested's that bother me, its what I feel is behind them. People who have not interest in anything. The walking dead as I have called them. They are the possibly unwitting partners with those who want to eliminate freedom, thought, and choices. Don't do anything. Don't ask a question. Don't rock the boat.

Well that boat's gonna get rocked anyway. By the same people that you could have stopped if you stood up.

I know few, if anyone listens to my ramblings-on, but if there is one person that is reading this, do one thing for more. If an opportuinity comes to better yourself, or your family take it. If there is a way to take a stand, stand up. Do something, feel something, take a risk.

Vote. Take a poll. Write a blog. Anything.

And while I am at it, stop being ashamed. Especially if your life or sexuality is counter to the walking dead. You know who you are. The ones they grab the torches for first. They turn on the guilt to control you. Don't let them. Even if you can't be open, be proud of who you are. Know that someone understand.

That's all I have to say now.

<div>I don't have much time, and I will expand on a few things in the next few days.

In the last two week I have seen the Forces of Evil converge on a very good friend. I have seen a massive worm on Yahoo that, I feel, was targeted at the more sexually open groups. I know of a good friend of mine who, because of her sexual proclivities, is being leaned on by the LA Sheriff's department.

Those who are sexually open are being attacked. These people are very sophisticated and, I beleive, will stop at nothing to achieve the neutering of this country.

My question is, what are we going to do about it?

Pentagon sets its sights on social networking websites

<div>New Scientist | June 9 2006

"I AM continually shocked and appalled at the details people voluntarily post online about themselves." So says Jon Callas, chief security officer at PGP, a Silicon Valley-based maker of encryption software. He is far from alone in noticing that fast-growing social networking websites such as MySpace and Friendster are a snoop's dream.

New Scientist has discovered that Pentagon's National Security Agency, which specialises in eavesdropping and code-breaking, is funding research into the mass harvesting of the information that people post about themselves on social networks. And it could harness advances in internet technology - specifically the forthcoming "semantic web" championed by the web standards organisation W3C - to combine data from social networking websites with details such as banking, retail and property records, allowing the NSA to build extensive, all-embracing personal profiles of individuals.

Americans are still reeling from last month's revelations that the NSA has been logging phone calls since the terrorist attacks of 11 September 2001. The Congressional Research Service, which advises the US legislature, says phone companies that surrendered call records may have acted illegally. However, the White House insists that the terrorist threat makes existing wire-tapping legislation out of date and is urging Congress not to investigate the NSA's action.

Meanwhile, the NSA is pursuing its plans to tap the web, since phone logs have limited scope. They can only be used to build a very basic picture of someone's contact network, a process sometimes called "connecting the dots". Clusters of people in highly connected groups become apparent, as do people with few connections who appear to be the intermediaries between such groups. The idea is to see by how many links or "degrees" separate people from, say, a member of a blacklisted organisation.

By adding online social networking data to its phone analyses, the NSA could connect people at deeper levels, through shared activities, such as taking flying lessons. Typically, online social networking sites ask members to enter details of their immediate and extended circles of friends, whose blogs they might follow. People often list other facets of their personality including political, sexual, entertainment, media and sporting preferences too. Some go much further, and a few have lost their jobs by publicly describing drinking and drug-taking exploits. Young people have even been barred from the orthodox religious colleges that they are enrolled in for revealing online that they are gay.

"You should always assume anything you write online is stapled to your resumé. People don't realise you get Googled just to get a job interview these days," says Callas.

Other data the NSA could combine with social networking details includes information on purchases, where we go (available from cellphone records, which cite the base station a call came from) and what major financial transactions we make, such as buying a house.

Right now this is difficult to do because today's web is stuffed with data in incompatible formats. Enter the semantic web, which aims to iron out these incompatibilities over the next few years via a common data structure called the Resource Description Framework (RDF). W3C hopes that one day every website will use RDF to give each type of data a unique, predefined, unambiguous tag.
"RDF turns the web into a kind of universal spreadsheet that is readable by computers as well as people," says David de Roure at the University of Southampton in the UK, who is an adviser to W3C. "It means that you will be able to ask a website questions you couldn't ask before, or perform calculations on the data it contains." In a health record, for instance, a heart attack will have the same semantic tag as its more technical description, a myocardial infarction. Previously, they would have looked like separate medical conditions. Each piece of numerical data, such as the rate of inflation or the number of people killed on the roads, will also get a tag.

The advantages for scientists, for instance, could be huge: they will have unprecedented access to each other's experimental datasets and will be able to perform their own analyses on them. Searching for products such as holidays will become easier as price and availability dates will have smart tags, allowing powerful searches across hundreds of sites.

On the downside, this ease of use will also make prying into people's lives a breeze. No plan to mine social networks via the semantic web has been announced by the NSA, but its interest in the technology is evident in a funding footnote to a research paper delivered at the W3C's WWW2006 conference in Edinburgh, UK, in late May.

That paper, entitled Semantic Analytics on Social Networks, by a research team led by Amit Sheth of the University of Georgia in Athens and Anupam Joshi of the University of Maryland in Baltimore reveals how data from online social networks and other databases can be combined to uncover facts about people. The footnote said the work was part-funded by an organisation called ARDA.

What is ARDA? It stands for Advanced Research Development Activity. According to a report entitled Data Mining and Homeland Security, published by the Congressional Research Service in January, ARDA's role is to spend NSA money on research that can "solve some of the most critical problems facing the US intelligence community". Chief among ARDA's aims is to make sense of the massive amounts of data the NSA collects - some of its sources grow by around 4 million gigabytes a month.

The ever-growing online social networks are part of the flood of internet information that could be mined: some of the top sites like MySpace now have more than 80 million members (see Graph).

The research ARDA funded was designed to see if the semantic web could be easily used to connect people. The research team chose to address a subject close to their academic hearts: detecting conflicts of interest in scientific peer review. Friends cannot peer review each other's research papers, nor can people who have previously co-authored work together.

So the team developed software that combined data from the RDF tags of online social network Friend of a Friend (www.foaf-project.org), where people simply outline who is in their circle of friends, and a semantically tagged commercial bibliographic database called DBLP, which lists the authors of computer science papers.

Joshi says their system found conflicts between potential reviewers and authors pitching papers for an internet conference. "It certainly made relationship finding between people much easier," Joshi says. "It picked up softer [non-obvious] conflicts we would not have seen before."

The technology will work in exactly the same way for intelligence and national security agencies and for financial dealings, such as detecting insider trading, the authors say. Linking "who knows who" with purchasing or bank records could highlight groups of terrorists, money launderers or blacklisted groups, says Sheth.

The NSA recently changed ARDA's name to the Disruptive Technology Office. The DTO's interest in online social network analysis echoes the Pentagon's controversial post 9/11 Total Information Awareness (TIA) initiative. That programme, designed to collect, track and analyse online data trails, was suspended after a public furore over privacy in 2002. But elements of the TIA were incorporated into the Pentagon's classified programme in the September 2003 Defense Appropriations Act.

Privacy groups worry that "automated intelligence profiling" could sully people's reputations or even lead to miscarriages of justice - especially since the data from social networking sites may often be inaccurate, untrue or incomplete, De Roure warns.

But Tim Finin, a colleague of Joshi's, thinks the spread of such technology is unstoppable. "Information is getting easier to merge, fuse and draw inferences from. There is money to be made and control to be gained in doing so. And I don't see much that will stop it," he says.

Callas thinks people have to wise up to how much information about themselves they should divulge on public websites. It may sound obvious, he says, but being discreet is a big part of maintaining privacy. Time, perhaps, to hit the delete button.

Gallup: In Shift, More Americans Now Call Themselves Democrats

NEW YORK In a (perhaps) historic shift, more Americans now consider themselves Democrats than Republicans, the Gallup organization revealed today.

Republicans had gained the upper hand in recent years, but 33% of Americans, in the latest Gallup poll, now call themselves Democrats, with those favoring the GOP one point behind. But Gallup says this widens a bit more "once the leanings of Independents are taken into account."

Independents now make up 34% of the population. When asked if they lean in a certain direction, their answers pushed the Democrat numbers to 49% with Republicans at 42%. One year ago, the parties were dead even at 46% each.

This shift indicates, Gallup says, why its polls show Democrats leading in this year's congressional races.

The latest poll was taken from January to March 2006, with a national sample of about 1,000 adults.

Supreme Court Decision in the Communications Decency Act (CDA)

March 20, 2006 - Washington D.C. b Today the U.S. Supreme Court affirmed the Federal District Court's decision in Barbara Nitke and NCSF v. Alberto Gonzales, the challenge to the Communications Decency Act, #01 CIV 11476 (RMB). The
Supreme Court has affirmed the lower court's decision without hearing oral arguments, sending a clear signal that the court will not protect free speech rights when it comes to sexually explicit materials.

The NCSF and Nitke lawsuit was successful in weakening the Miller standard of judging obscenity: the District Court for the Southern District of NY made a factual finding that the SLAPS prong of Miller does not provide protection against
prosecution as it was intended to do. The Miller decision (1973) stated that materials were constitutionally protected if the work, taken as a whole, has "serious literary, artistic, political, or scientific value." However
the District court accepted evidence from NCSF and Nitke that prosecutors and juries in more restrictive communities are less likely to extend protection to artistic and
literary materials that are outside the mainstream of traditional sexuality.

"We have proven that Miller does not work," says Susan Wright, Spokesperson for NCSF. "But the Supreme Court has declined to strike it down at this time. That means every website on the Internet can be judged by the most repressive local
community standards in the U.S."

The Supreme Court decision shows the importance of supporting NCSF, one of the few organizations proactively fighting obscenity laws. The CDA makes it a crime to post
obscenity on the Internet because those materials may be viewed by children. NCSF and Nitke believe that adults should have the right to post and view sexually explicit materials involving consenting adults on the Internet.

"We knew that the Bush administration was laying its plans to prosecute sexually explicit material on the Internet," says John Wirenius, attorney for the plaintiffs. "By filing our lawsuit in 2001, we may have slowed the Justice Department from prosecuting obscenity in 2002-3, but the number of obscenity prosecutions has steadily increased ever since. We believe in fighting this battle and we took our fight all the way to the Supreme Court."

"I think we've achieved a great victory in drawing attention to how politicized our judicial system has become," says co-plaintiff Barbara Nitke, a fine art photographer who explores sexual relationships in her work. "Our obscenity laws are
outmoded, especially in conjunction with the Internet. We've made a huge dent in how obscenity will be judged in the future, and I hope others will now stand up and continue to fight against repressive laws like this."

NCSF and Barbara Nitke would like to thank everyone who contributed to fund this important lawsuit, as well as the many dedicated witnesses and lawyers who assisted in bringing this case to court. In particular, NCSF and Nitke thank John
Wirenius for his outstanding efforts in this case and his dedication to First Amendment rights. NCSF intends to continue the fight against obscenity laws in the U.S.

<div>This has been a real bear of a weekend. It is a weekend that made me realize a few things. Primary, that there is no place in the so-called regular world for me. Secondary, I seem to be attracted to people in the same boat.

I almost lost a friend near and dear to me this weekend. I almost lost that person because they told the truth. Too much truth can make you a target. And mt friend's last expression of that made put a bulls-eye on my friend's head.

Around 5pm on Saturday, they pulled the trigger, fired, and bagged their target.

Thankfully, my friend is like a phoenix. And a very beautiful one at that. And has reappeared in other venues...as well as the one my friend was eliminated from.

It was there that I realized that, in this castrated world, people like myself and my friend really are not welcome.

Oh, there is an allure to difference. Something that makes the blood rush to the head (phrase that however you want). But when reality meets the dream, suddenly the chill comes to the spine and and one stops. It is their own feelings and passions they fear. And they have to move away from it, even if it takes eliminating the source of those passions.

This is what has happened and is happening. It is the reason that freedom of speech and expression are being attacked. It is the reason that the legions of true indecency are taking over the institutions. It is the reason they have hauled out the heavy terror software....and hardware. As long as the country is neutered in the end, no device is out of the question to achieve that. None.

And so it has become clear, that there is truly no place in this sanitized world for myself, my friend, and others of similar mindset. The problem is, obviously, we have to live in the world for the remainder of our time here, unless we can create community where we can live, work, love, play, generate wealth...together.

There are ways we can do this. We can stop being afraid of money and make it work for us for the common goal of separating ourselves from the Prude Patrol as much as possible. I am working with a company that helps in that regard. On this I will say no more, outside of its conservatism is balanced by the fact their checks have never bounce. If this part makes you curious, contact me privately.

There are other things we can do. Vote. Get involved. Invest in the companies that are being forced to segmentalize us. I have talked about this before, but the events of the past few days have galvanized me. Because of how I feel about things such as sexuality, the Government, and society in general, my friend and I are targets. It is possible you are too.

All I am saying is that people like us should work together. To get tougher, smarter, more secure. And we should start on that path now. You never know.....you may be kicked off tomorrow.

FSC to the Senate: Remove Title VI from H.R. 4472; It Does Not Target Child Pornographers!

<div>

Canoga Park, Calif. - The Free Speech Coalition (FSC) (http://www.freespeechcoalition.org) is disappointed that the House of Representatives passed a seriously flawed provision that claims to prevent the production and distribution of child pornography but does nothing of the sort.

Yesterday the House of Representatives passed H.R. 4472, the "Children’s Safety and Violent Crime Reduction Act of 2005," a comprehensive bill that deals mostly with child sexual predators and gangs. An unrelated subsection--Title VI--Child Pornography Prevention--is a seriously flawed provision that claims to prevent the production and distribution of child pornography by strengthening and expanding record-keeping requirements and criminal sanctions under U.S.C. 18 §2257.

The issues addressed are not new; Congress continues to legislate a solution unrelated to the problem it identifies. The version enacted yesterday is a hybrid of the Pence Amendment, H.R. 3726, introduced by Representative Mike Pence (R-Ind.) last year and passed in the House in the fall of 2005, and S. 2140, a significantly different Senate version introduced by Senator Orrin Hatch (R-Utah) in December of 2005.

Title VI is the worst of both bills, and if passed into law in anything resembling its current form, would represent an abusive and unconstitutional affront to freedom of speech in this country. Worse it would do nothing to aid the eradication of child pornography or the incarceration of child pornographers, an objective supported by all members of the Free Speech Coalition. Indeed, the legitimate adult entertainment industry has been, and always will be, an active participant in the global fight against child pornography.

We believe that this bill, which targets this industry as well as innocent citizens engaged in lawful sexual speech, cannot succeed for the simple reason that it is aimed at the wrong people. Child pornographers do not keep records of their crimes!

FSC staff attorneys will need time to analyze the new bill, but we can safely say that today the House clearly made worse already unconstitutional 2257 regulations. Specifically, H.R. 4472:

Creates section 2257A, which provides record keeping requirements for simulated sexual content;
Gives the Attorney General of the Unites States the discretion to define certain activities not subject to 2257;
Adds civil and criminal asset forfeiture penalties in 2257 and obscenity cases;
Restores section 2256 (E), the "lascivious exhibition of the genitals or pubic area of any person," to the definition of "sexually explicit conduct" for the purposes of 2257;
Makes the production of obscenity a federal criminal offense under Section 1465 of title 18 of the United States Code;
Prohibits defense counsel and expert witnesses in a child pornography case from reproducing evidence that is defined as child pornography under Section 2256.
Attorneys for the Free Speech Coalition are also assessing what impact, if any, this bill would have on current 2257 litigation, but we have been assured that nothing in it can or will undo the victory we achieved in the recent preliminary injunction ruling in Denver.

But neither have we thrown in the towel with respect to the final outcome of H.R. 4472. We will continue to work through our federal lobbyists to convince the Senate to avoid the expense and time involved in litigation at the federal level, and instead reject the current Title VI legislation in favor of legislation that will actually do what it claims.

Free Speech Coalition is the trade organization of the adult entertainment industry. Its mission is to safeguard the industry from oppressive governmental regulation and to promote good business practices within the industry.</div>

<div>In my screed a few weeks ago, we said we'd keep our eye on Donald WIldmon and his American Family Association. It is nothing more than a front for a group of people who hav eperverted Christianity.

Here is the latest proof, from www.mediamatters.org:

American Family Association opened its airwaves to advocate for executing gays, adulterers, abortion doctors

Summary: Far-right Christian author and American Vision president Gary DeMar was the guest on the February 2 edition of American Family Radio's Today's Issues. In the past, DeMar has advocated the installation of a theocratic government in the United States in which homosexuals, adulterers, and abortion doctors would be executed.

Far-right Christian author and American Vision president Gary DeMar was the guest on the February 2 broadcast of Today's Issues, a program of American Family Radio, a network of nearly 200 radio stations owned by the conservative American Family Association (AFA). DeMar denounced "the continual assault on all things religion and, in particular, Christian," and AFA president Tim Wildmon praised him as "one of the best writers out there in the Christian community and thinkers." In the past, DeMar has advocated the installation of a theocratic government in the United States in which homosexuals, adulterers, and abortion doctors would be executed.

Wildmon invited to DeMar to discuss "the assault on God in our popular culture." DeMar responded by criticizing two television shows on NBC with allegedly "anti-Christian" themes:

DeMAR: Well, of course, as you know, on television we saw the -- what is it The Book of Daniel that was on there? And I understand that there's gonna be something on Will &amp; Grace. I've never seen Will &amp; Grace, but I guess Britney Spears is gonna be on there, and she's doing some cooking show called "Cruci-fixins."

WILDMON: Yeah, that's right, Gary. Of course, The Book of Daniel is an NBC television program, extremely sacrilegious and anti-Christian, and now NBC has announced that an episode of Will &amp; Grace over in April, I think, will feature Britney Spears the pop star --

DeMAR: I think it's pretty much around Good Friday.

WILDMON: Yeah, the day before Good Friday. And she's supposed to play the part of a conservative Christian. Of course, that's the show featuring a homosexual character. And the name of her show is gonna be "Cruci-fixin's," if you can believe how sacrilegious a network can be. "Cruci-fixin's." It's supposed -- you're supposed to laugh at that because it's a play on the word "crucifixion" obviously.

DeMAR: Right. And of course, we've seen with [the film] Brokeback Mountain and so forth, just this continual assault on things religious and, most specifically, Christian. I know the ADL [Jewish advocacy group, the Anti-Defamation League] has come out against, you know, prayers that mention Jesus' name in a city -- in Florida, and I know here just in Marietta [Georgia], they've done the same with, you know, no mention of any specific god in these prayers. I mean, I don't know who in the world they're praying to. And there's a video out that's making the rounds on the Internet: The God Who Wasn't There. So there's just a daily assault on everything mostly related to Christianity across the board, and Christians need to be prepared for these assaults, especially with their children as they go off to school and, of course, to college, and as they get further and further away from the home. We as Christians need to be vigilant in answering these rather ridiculous objections to the things of Christ.

NBC canceled The Book of Daniel January 25 after four episodes aired; AFA founder and chairman Donald E. Wildmon said, "This shows the average American that he doesn't have to simply sit back and take the trash being offered on TV, but he can get involved and fight back with his pocketbook." NBC claimed that the purported Will &amp; Grace storyline of Spears serving as a Christian conservative hosting a cooking show called "Cruci-fixin's" came from "a press release mistakenly issued by the network," and that "neither a script nor story line for the episode in question has been written." The God Who Wasn't There is a film that, according to a Newsweek article, "irreverently lays out the case that Jesus Christ never existed."

Later in the broadcast, co-host Jeff Shambley told DeMar, "I should mention that I personally appreciate your work. The three-work set God and Government [American Vision, 1990] and Reformation to Colonization [American Vision, 1997] is used in our home school. And I know your work has blessed millions of people."

Tim Wildmon echoed Shambley's praise of DeMar, declaring, "Well, one of the best writers out there in the Christian community and thinkers is Gary DeMar."

DeMar is a leading promoter of an extremist theology called Christian Reconstructionism, also known as Theocratic Dominionism, which, according to journalist and author Frederick Clarkson, "argues that the Bible is to be the governing text for all areas of life -- such as government, education, law, and the arts, not merely 'social' or 'moral' issues like pornography, homosexuality, and abortion."

In his essay, "Theocratic Dominionism Gains Influence," Clarkson stated that under a Christian Reconstructionist government, "[w]omen would be generally relegated to hearth and home. Insufficiently Christian men would be denied citizenship, perhaps executed. So severe is this theocracy that it would extend capital punishment beyond such crimes as kidnapping, rape, and murder to include, among other things, blasphemy, heresy, adultery, and homosexuality."

As Americans United for Separation of Church and State documented, DeMar wrote in his book, Ruler of the Nations: Biblical Principles for Government (Dominion Press, 1987): "The law that requires the death penalty for homosexual acts effectually drives the perversion of homosexuality back into the closet." DeMar added: "The long term goal [is] the execution of abortionists and parents who hire them. If we argue that abortion is murder, then we must call for the death penalty."

DeMar further articulated his views during an exchange on an Atlanta radio show in 1991 with liberal Christian activist Skipp Porteous and host Paul Gonzalez:

DeMAR: The definition of Christian Reconstruction is simply this: The Bible applies to every facet of life. That means not just the judicial aspects of life, such as civil government, church government, but business, economics -- every facet of society. The Bible has something to say about each area. For example, on homosexuals: We do not believe that homosexuals ought to be executed. The Bible doesn't say that homosexuals ought to be executed. What it says is this: If two men lie together like man and woman, they are to be put to death.

PORTEOUS: What the hell do you think that is?

DeMAR: Well, wait a minute. If a guy comes up to me and he says, "I'm a homosexual," that doesn't mean he's to be executed. If you understand the Scriptures, it says very clearly: If a man comes up to you and says, "I've murdered somebody," that doesn't mean that person ought to be executed.

GONZALES: Oh, so what you are saying, Gary, is, if you catch homosexuals in the act, then the Bible says to execute them.

DeMAR: The Bible lays forth the severest penalty, which would be capital punishment for two men who publicly engage in sodomy.

DeMar continued by stating his nominal support for the death penalty for adulterers and abortion doctors:

GONZALES: If, indeed, the Reconstructionist movement ever made it in America, would you advocate these biblical principles being carried out: the execution of the adulterer, the abortionist, and the homosexual?

DeMAR: I'm saying that they could be implemented, yes.

In September 2005, DeMar spoke at a symposium at The Chalcedon Foundation, a Reconstructionist think tank. The Southern Poverty Law Center (SPLC) called the symposium "a preview of a planned speaking tour of Reconstructionism's leading voices ... that will be traveling to non-Reconstructionist fundamentalist Christian churches around the country beginning this winter as part of the Chalcedon Foundation's missionary effort to 'convert' already conservative congregations to full-blown Reconstructionism."

DeMar's Marietta, Georgia-based think-tank and advocacy group, American Vision, which the SPLC lists as a hate group, claims to be "Equipping and Empowering Christians to Restore America's Biblical Foundation." In 2001, President Bush was expected to re-nominate former American Vision board member and longtime anti-union activist J. Robert Brame III to the National Labor Relations Board; Brame was forced to withdraw from consideration after media reports documented American Vision's advocacy of a right-wing Christian Reconstructionist theocracy.

NBC Screws NoNeck: Airs Book of Daniel ONLINE!

<div>NBC has apperently by-passed Donald (No Neck) Wildmon and decided to air unaired episodes of "Book of Daniel" ONLINE!!

Also, a posted on the BOD Board on NBC.com has this suggestion:

**************************************

Let's have our voices heard.
Put 'The Book of Daniel' back on the air!

Here are five active tasks you can do to help put 'The Book of Daniel' back on the air. Do one or do them all, but we need everyone to help.

1. Call NBC, and let them know how you feel.

212-413-5000

2. Send an email, voicing your displeasure, to this e-mail address, which is specific to The Book Of Daniel.

thebookofdaniel@nbcuni.com

3. Sign the petition.

http://new.petitiononline.com/bod35/petition.html

4. Contact Jon Joebgen. Jon Joebgen is NBCUni's Senior Press Manager, he is listed as contact info for BoD on http://www.nbcumv.com. His contact info is as follows...

email: jon.joebgen@nbcuni.com
telephone: (212) 664-5522
fax: (212) 664-6293

5. Send this entire message to as many friends as you can think of, and post this entire message on as many legal places on the Internet as you can. There are lots of Internet places on which you can do this without being a spammer. Another method is to send this message to five friends, asking each of them to send it to five friends and so on. That method can be quite effective.

**************************************

P.S. Hmmmm.....Perhaps we should consider boycotting all of NBC's sponsors,
and quit watching anything on NBC, until they put it back on the air!!!

P.S.S. To watch this weeks show go to:
http://www.nbc.com/The_Book_of_Daniel/
(High Speed Internet &amp; IE recommended)

<div>Hi.

I have not been here for awhile, not because of the TOU thing, but I have been pretty depressed lately. I am to a point that I am wondering what's real. That there seems to be no one on my wavelength. And the only other option, conformity, is to painful to do.

I amnot thinking of ending it all, but my two choices are not good ones. I can either try in a desparate attempt to be happy, knowing that there is no one out there like me, or conform and make everyone happy. EIther way, I know *I* will never be happy. Not that it matters.

    </a>
										<div>
Coretta Scott King, the widow of Martin Luther King Jr., died early this morning, former United Nations ambassador Andrew Young said today.

The 78-year-old Mrs. King died in her sleep. Bernice King, one of her daughters, found her about 1 a.m., said Young, a family friend and former King aide.

"It seemed as though she was resting when she passed away. Bernice thought she had had a rather difficult day yesterday and felt like she needed her rest. It wan't until early this morning that she [Bernice] went to check on her and saw she had apassed away."

The former mayor of Atlanta Andrew Young broke the news in a phone call to NBC's "Today" show.

Young, who was a former civil rights activist and was close to the King family.

Asked how he found out about her death, Young said: "I understand she was asleep last night and her daughter tried to wake her up."

She turned a life shattered by her husband's assassination into one devoted to enshrining his legacy of human rights and equality.

King suffered a serious stroke and heart attack last year.

She did not appear at the birthday observance for her husband earlier this month. It was the first time in the 20 year observance of the holiday that she'd missed the event.
