Poosie is funny, she is loving to the enviroment as well as others. She invites everyone with open arms and a huge heart. Her driving isnt bad, just wear your seatbelt. LOL! OMG I am speachless when it comes to her. So many things go through my head about her. However I cant put them into words.
Her with a short few, who I have meet I would trust with my life! If you piss her off or hurt her tho. I know judo! I'll Kick your AZZ! Then we can burn it.

Lt. Poosie Kat is the greatest! When I first met her I swore I had finally found my twin. She is vibrant, fun, insightful and can herd cats like nobody else can. She is the best person to have running the show. When she and "The Boy" are not around, there is an empty space that aches for her presence.

There is a reason why this girl has so many testimonials! She is truly one of the most wonderful, loving, caring, supportive people I know (just to name a few descriptive words:-P) and I have only known her via online for a short time! She is an incredible presence in this world and one that will be forever in my heart.

Thank you, poosie, for all you do and for living your life as beautiful in as you do out!

I really hope to meet you someday in the nearer future!

about me
To get the best sense of me, read my blogs, my posts, the quotes I find compelling, pertinent, and useful, and the testimonials others have taken the time to compose...saying and sharing how they see me. I can state many (though not all) of my interests, tell you want a great, caring, kind, beautiful, loving, fun, humorous, witty, adventurous, insightful, inspired, creative person I am, but it's easier for you to make up your own mind.

OH...and those that are in my yet to meet friends category, I hope to change that. I love meeting the people that I've met on here. I'm not a 'friend-whore', I actually enjoy cultivating friendships. I travel around the Midwest, invite people out to events, and try to actually get to know them whenever and however possible.

More words to read:

Flatter me, and I may not believe you. Criticize me, and I may not like you. Ignore me, and I may not forgive you. Encourage me, and I may not forget you.
-- William Arthur

We live in an age disturbed, confused, bewildered, afraid of its own forces, in search not merely of its road but even of its direction. There are many voices of counsel, but few voices of vision; there is much excitement and feverish activity, but little concert of thoughtful purpose. We are distressed by our own ungoverned, undirected energies and do many things, but nothing long. It is our duty to find ourselves.
-- Woodrow Wilson

You must be the change you want to see in the world.

Well said...

Do not fear the enemy, for your enemy can only take your life. It is far better that you fear the media, for they will steal your Honor. That awful power, the public opinion of a nation, is created in America by a horde of ignorant, self-complacent simpletons who failed at ditching and shoemaking and fetched up in journalism on their way to the poorhouse: Mark Twain.

You tell me this is God?
I tell you this is a printed list,
A burning candle and an ass.

What I want.....

Remember that if you don't let people know what you want, it's harder for them to give it to you.

I want to live in the woods.
Have an electric car.
And live in a community of awesome people that do art.

Kat's Meow

1. Grab the nearest book

2. Open the book to page 28

3. Find the 3rd sentence

4. Post the text of the next three sentences in your blog (and as a comment on mine) along with these instructions. Do not look for your favorite book, the cool book, or the intellectual one: pick the CLOSEST book.

And if you're starting from scratch, you'll either learn the tricks of expediting and economizing (which we'll cover later), or be content with relatively slow initial growth.

A Case for Cats

A Case for Cats

a cat, when first met

is a stole on springs

a furred magnetic mitten

lizard-quick, she

stops, sniffs, a watch-fob swat, and poof!

set out a saucer of milk if it eases you, but

the cat manages quite nicely afield

get too close too quick cats SCRATCH!

maybe hiss first,

maybe not soon the cat

rubs you with fur flanks, again, again

careful just yet, even

though she jumps in your lap she wants

to know she can jump in your lap and your lap

will stay a lap.

a self-satisfied cat may purr just for practice

or curl up dreaming of furniture with fingers

--when the cat meows, open the door or

the cat will, or make you wish you had

the cat may return soon, or not

or sail in without knocking, aft-mast aloft

when the back door opens by coincidence

and later spill your coffee mounting your shoulders, kneading, before

spilling down your arm, belly-up waist-deep for a rub

while she stretches to full-length quivers, but soon

new business snaps the cat to shape and senses, poof!

your old business left tabled under french roast and floating fur

when it suits, the cat will return,

or not.

this is why a cat

and not a dog
