Porter is really a great guy and throws some of the best parties in the Bay Area. He has a great imagination.

I'm always forgetting why I adore Porter so much...Happily enough, every time the memory is almost gone, he reminds me all over again.
Porter listens while I talk. He also held my hand while I fell all over the skating rink in the freezing air the first time I met him. He made me giggle while we watched the zamboni.
The second time we hung out for an extended period I locked my keys in the car and had to sleep in between him and Shawna in his bed. If you know Porter, you know why I had to sleep between them. That was the beginning of a beautifully strange friendship.
I still owe him a session with the porcelin god. Maybe this year I'll be able to pay the debt off.

babycakes is a strange fish- stranger even than that crazy clock lady or - dare I say it- Smedley Popkins- and almost no-one is stranger than Smedley Popkins. He has a very tight and fascinating relationship with fish. You wouldn't know it from looking at him but he molests trout when no-one's watching. He adores Barry Manilow- more than most folks out there, and he plays with dolls in really scary ways. Ratchett is the scariest doll I've ever seen and both he and his brother have one- I used to hide her in the freezer so he couldn't find her- but he caught on to that- I must find a new hiding place- hmmmm
