about me
I am a bit of an odd fish. I always have been. I remember growing up in the suburbian wastelands of Burlington, Ontario...where I listened to the punk rock and new wave, goth and industrial that was around during the 1980's and 90's. I tried to find my way into the underground here, watching the wierdest films that I could while reading HEAVY METAL fantasy magazine (this has nothing to do with the music of the same name.)
Around the age of 20, I joined the Argylls Scottish Militia in Hamilton, and prepared myself for the exciting world of University.
I never did get into the film making program at York University...so I ended up majoring in Philosophy for my first year, then switched to Fine arts. Then I ran into some financial and emotional difficulties...and started to drift like a dandelion seed.
I took a year off school to work as a security guard...and when I came back to University...all the tuition had quadrupled in price! It was no longer an affordable $1, 500 a year....it was closer to $5000.
I pretty much dropped out of University at this point...although I only have five credits left to finish my BA in Philosophy.
From here, I went into the world of being a professional rickshaw runner, cologne salesman, science fiction writer, billboard bicycle pilot, and working on the DaVinci project building a Rocketship.
Today, I am trying to refocus myself. I am getting back into the art and the writing that are my true path.

On October 26th, 2010 our friend Keith Adney finished his long battle with cancer.
Keith was a beloved member of our 'maker space' family here in Hamilton. His physical presence will be missed, yet his influence will always be felt and remembered.
Not only was Keith a member of the local maker space community here in Hamilton, Ontario but he was also part of the Burning Man family.
