So it seems like tribe.net is going down, despite many people voluntarily paying for the service. I'm wondering, would it be possible to try to shift this network, with some of its formatting, to tribalharmonix.org?
Now I know that tribalharmonix already provides a social networking function, and in an ideal world we would already be using tribalharmonix instead of tribe.net. But for now let's just accept that many people in our community use tribe.net in a way that we don't use tribalharm...

From our friends at Save Saltspring Island's Creekside Rainforest.... Salt Spring Islanders are racing to meet a short purchase deadline to save the Creekside Rainforest, a rare parcel of old temperate rainforest, that is slated to be logged and subdivided if funds aren't raised by this Friday. The Land Conservancy of BC (TLC) negotiated a price of $975,000 to preserve this special forest for future generations. Thanks to many generous donors over $790,000 has been raised in only eleven weeks...
