</a>
										<div>That is all.

there's alot going on, as usual. Job, dating, family. Cat is good. House is good. Best friend is good.
Other good friend a bit needy, but that's ok. Don't have a halloween costume yet, seriously considering going anti-creative with stock sexy nurse/pirate/french maid outfit, just to be ironic.
"Promise, don't you sew?"
"Yes."
Promise, didn't you once make a giant paper tree and put it in the corner of your house?"
"Yes."
"Promise, don't you love setting up the hookah, making a ritual out of everything, including a simple cup of hot chocolate when we are all camping?"
"Yes."
"Then why are you dressed like a fucking french maid?"
"Because I'm lazy, and this booty still has to look good."

Don't say you weren't warned. ;P

You make me Feel like Dancing

    </a>
										<div>From both--"You're a what?"

From writers--"I never knew you were a dancer!"

From dancers--"How weird. I would've thought by looking at how you dance, that it's something you've been doing since you were little."

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
So far in my life, the writers cannot grasp that I love to dance. And the dancers are astonished that I would spend time writing. But whenever one art form seems to grow thin and brittle in my creativity, I turn to the other to bring the juicy flavor of expression up from my heart.
I covered this in a previous blog, but I fell in love with writing when I was 13 years old. It was a passionate affair,that also had ups and downs, but largely, we were happy together, writing and I. Mostly poetry, some prose. We hit a bump 10 years ago, that turned into a major roadblock, that turned into a damn mountain, and I found I was too broken hearted and devastated to write for a good long time. Say, 5 years.
And during this time, I turned to Dancing. I had already dabbled with irish soft shoe, ballroom, a dab of salsa and swing, free style boogie and  of course belly dancing from many years before. I knew I liked the freedom of body,...
10 x 20 Carport for sale-$280
<a href="http://people.tribe.net/promise74/blog/a59d6587-125e-4849-b85d-d45f68cf2a33">  						          <img class=" picThumb" src="http://images.tribe.net/tribe/upload/photo/6d7/92c/6d792cc6-34f1-49d1-b11a-f16774477640.thumb" width="50" height="78" alt="" />
    </a>
										<div>Deelicious and I co-purchased a carport a few years back as a shade structure for Burning Man.We have decided to sell it, as it no longer suits our purposes, camping wise. It's still in pretty good shape, the poles to use in which areas have been marked discreetly with green or pink duct tape, and one pole is *slightly* bent. It comes with 3 windows on each side (6 windows total) which have air vents cut into them suspiciously in an image of BM. )( *grin*
We paid approx $350 for it originally. We are selling it for $280, because we also bought a 50' gigantic camo netting for the front door. If you DO NOT WANT the camo netting, that's fine,it would shave $30 off the price.
You will need to arrange transport before May 15th. I will be out of town from April 22nd to April 28th, but could show it to you after I get back.
The entire structure includes:
>Side walls
>back wall with air vents cut in
>attachment bungies
>roof
>all necessary poles and stabilizing bases
>carrying bag (8 ft long gray duffel)
>camo netting
I've attached a picture of what the interior looks like once its set up (note the colored tape on the poles?) and a link of what the original price would be if you paid for it brand new.There is _no_ front door, we chose not to purchase it at the time.
										<div>Do you want the short version? Here's it:
I'm launching a new blog. Its a very big deal to me. It would mean a lot if you would go, poke around for 2-5 minutes, leave a comment, and generally raise your clasped hands together, boxer style, for me for doing this.I guarantee that if you comment, I will comment back to you either there or on your blog of choice, as long as you include the link.
HUGE HUGE thanks to Matthew for making it happen.
Thank you! And great big slobbery love! Promise
www.mylittlepail.com
**************************************************************
Do you want the long version? Okay, Here's it:
Come with me, as we travel back in time… To a day, long, long ago, in 1982. I was about 9 years old, living with my parents on a lake in the valleys below Mt. Rainer in Washington State. My mother and I were in the sitting room/library, just off the master bedroom. It was late morning on a Sunday. We had eaten breakfast, and the light was muted through the clouds, but it was warm out. The view of the lake and the country from this view was spectacular. There were blue herons, wild blueberries, tall evergreens, and big plump bushes and tall grass. We took the “Sunday is a day for rest” thing really seriously in my house, even though we weren’t a particularly religious family. My mom pulled a volume from the shelf, and began to read to me, and right then and there, was my first love affair with the Written Word. I didn’t know it, but it would last every day of my waking life.
She read me Edgar Allen Poe’s-The Raven.
From then on out it was literature…writing…poetry especially..and language. In middle school I read classical lit on my school vacations. In high school I was known for looking up new, big, difficult or unusual words and bringing them to share with friends. Out of school, I became involved heavily with poetry readings of every ilk, and later, with poetry slams. Nothing could touch the flame of fever that brought me closer to myself, and of course, in learning others, as Writing did.
That is, until I met Dance.
Now, years later, its a balance. I try to dance and write, but for some reason, have a hard time doing both. For years I broadened my dance base to include: irish soft shoe, waltzing, bellydancing, a little salsa and west coast swing, and now Argentine Tango. I can also free style with the best of them. But slowly, in the last 3 years, writing has crept back in.
A friend of mine asked me if I would post a regular blog to share some observations on various aspects of Life-Cultural Evolution, Money, Philosophy, even travel and events. So I’m here to open up and share my view,from inside My Little Pail.
Thank you for stopping by! HUGE HUGE thanks to Matthew for making it happen.
    </a>
										<div>I lost my favorite lipstick yesterday. Its called Red Earth. Every, single, solitary burner I know has complimented me on it at one point or another.
I really love lipstick, but for every one color that looks good, I usually have to try 15 on first that make me look like a 9 yo who broke into Mom's bathroom. I was going to go to Aveda, since HDu bought me a membership there, and they're all organic, but what do you think? Where should I go to get good lips? And DON'T say SF. Its too insane in the membrane.
    </a>
										<div>> Best Friend is here, probably her last trip to the Bay area due to pregnancy. Can't wait to spend 5 days with her.
>Tara is doing well, and for that I'm really happy.
>Daxle will forgive me for bailing on dinner, but...
>stitches in my head prevented me from doing so. Stitches hurt. They are cool. They are gross. And I want to show EVERYONE.
>Being obsessed over a tree is a healthy and good way to spend the hours.
>Family is better. Better than I thought it could be.
>Heroes is a fantastic show! I LOVES it! Its like gravy and mashed potatoes-there is no wrong!
>Taking on paying back a personal debt is very, very important for closure.
>Talking with my ex, Clear, has been surprising, insightful, fun, and a little surreal.
>And last but certainly not least, I'm launching a new blog with Matthew on 01.01.09, and we are nearly done! It looks amazing, and writing again is giving me a shot of wheatgrass to my soul that I never knew I was missing. Its HAWT. I can't wait to share it with you guys. Hint-I'll be on Twitter, too.
										<div>Tonight, I'm going to make the first pumpkin pie of the season. I generally make 30-40 pies every Autumn. I don't know why; its kind of my Thing. Its like a clock goes off inside me and I start making pies like crazy.
After 14 years, this is the first year someone has grown sugar pie pumpkins for me, and for that, I tip my hat to Hunny Du, for her gorgeous garden. THANK YOU!!
If you would like to request one for general halloweeny goodness, or for Thanksgiving, I am taking requests.
YAY!
((PS-I make them from REAL pumpkins, not from the can.))</div>
