Nick is one seriously cool dude.

I met him through my sweetheart....well, sort of. The first time the three of us hung out, Nick realized that he and I had actually met a year or two previously, when he had come to my house to see about renting a room. I had totally forgotten....but he put two and two together correctly.

He's so mellow, so unassuming--but this dude doesn't miss a thing. I swear he doesn't. He is one sharp cat. Don't try to get away with anything around him (unless you enroll him in the process, which would greatly increase your chances of success in the shenanigans).

Nick was a total workhorse in powering the playa this year. No slacking, just get out there and do it, and make sure it remains functional. He works with my sweetie and they powered the Cubitron, part of Center Camp, and a few other camps as well. I was so proud to see these awesome, amazing pieces of Burning Man running clean. The way the entire playa *should* run.

He also puts his money where his mouth is (literally) in that he owns a few alternative fuel vehicles. Why dirty the air if you don't have to?

He's low key but funny as hell and I sure hope I get to hang out with him more on the playa this year.

Yeah that guy Nick... he's alright.
