Methodic Marble is the musical alias of Portuguese night-time psytrance producer Luís Pires. I order to become more connected with the expanded nature of humanity, we chose to draw inspiration from the Orishas, a spiritual system from ancient Africa. An Orisha is one reflection of Olodumare, the Cosmic Spirit. These Orishas have been used by people to solve problems and allow for the spirits to mediate between worlds for thousands of years. Many deities or sprits such as Eleggua and Oshun are summoned by various objects that symbolize their qualities in order manifest a particular will. For our gathering, we honor these ancient spirits and ask them for guidance and protection as we propel through space and time.

The project Stereographic is carried out by the musician André Santana Camargos.Born on 21 June, 1980, André began his musical life at the age of 9, studying piano. At the age of 15, he started studying classical guitar and playing electric guitar and bass with friends on jam sessions, where they used to play punk rock and heavy metal. Anfré has been a psytrance producer since 2001, and his project gained more shape and quality in 2004. Stereographic was one of the first producers of underground music in Brazil and in AMERICA. His music is played by a large number of respectable djs around the world. The style can be defined in 2 lines: Stereographic side a- full on night high-tech ,fat bass, deep atmospheres and melodies - and Stereographic side b - night, dark, harder sound, also with fat bass, efx and obscure atmospheres.It's a combination of dancing and reflection.

Nyama is a psychedelic trance project dedicated to the night, the day and everything in between unless its twisted hours.

Behind this project is Jan Paluch from Hamburg, Germany, who was born in 1982 and discovered the so called goatrance in 1996... From 1998 on, he has been attending a lot of underground parties and many big festivals, enjoying himself and the culture in this new discovered universe and dancing a lot.

After some time he wanted to give something back to this community by creating something. While trying out what might fit his interests best, he was introduced to cubase in early 2007 and very fast he got addicted to twist knobs and creating something musically - the project Nyama was born.

Nyama's sound is all about getting the listener somewhere else, creating a story which leads into "trance". Jan is currently working on some collabs and a lot of tracks which hopefully will hit the ears and dancefloors sooner or later.

Overall it was a good year for the genre. some very promising talent stepping up to the directors chair. Of all of the films seen this year, these select few have made it to my top ten.
