Today I had to do the hardest thing I've ever had to do in my entire life. I had to let me best friend go... My beloved dog Diesel, my best friend and companion for the past 15 years, the one consistent shining light in my life, my angel, has made the transition from this life to the next. Please say a prayer for us in this time of change. If you have a friend like that, please hug them and tell them that each day you spend together is a blessing. God, i will miss her so much. My heart is broken...

So, after 15 years of living in Eagle Rock, I am being forced out of my little house by a douchebag roommate and his un-clean habits. So, now comes the fun task of looking for a new place to live that's affordable and will accept my 15 year old dog. I'm looking for a place with a yard for the dog in the Eagle Rock/Highland Park/Pasadena area, there in, preferably 2 bedrooms, but I can do with one, under $1200/ month. I'm sure the perfect place is waiting for me, but I may need your help to find it. If anyone has any leads, please let me know. Thanks! PS, I want to live ALONE. No more roommates!!!! I've had it!

It's time for my annual blog. It seems that I only post maybe once a year. This Saturday is my birthday. In lieu of having a party, I'm going to be going to the LA Burning Man Decompression Party. Come on down and help me celebrate my "21st x 2" birthday! I'll also be performing with Machina Candeo on the Fire Stage sometime between 7:30 and 8:00 pm, as well as doing a hoop thing with 2 fabulous ladies, Tangee and Foxie, right after (8:00 pm-ish, same stage). Hope to see ya'll there and buy me a drink after the fire!!!! ;)

I got the best birthday present ever today. I was driving to work as the sun came up, like I do. It was sort of cloudy, like it was going to rain, so it made for an intresting sunrise, all muted orange and pink. And then, as I was cruising west on Beverly, there it was...a really big freakin' rainbow! I got my very own rainbow for my birthday. The universe's little gifts are sometimes the best ones. It made me think that's it's going to be a wonderful day, weekend, year, life. :) Just had to share.
