Floor sander!!

Will and I are needing to refinish some wood floors in our new house and was wondering if anyone out there might have a floor sander that we could borrow to make the job easier??

Tomorrow my grandson gets to try out hearing for the first time!! His cochlear implant surgery went well last month....thank you all who so generously contributed to the paypal account to help out!!! :-) Now tomorrow they will actually turn the device on to see how he will respond. It will be low at first so he won't be too startled!! I will blog about it tomorrow!! Keep us in your thoughts!! We're so excited! He will be able to hear on his first birthday next week on the 15th!!! Yeah!!!

Just when you think you know all about LOVE.. the levels of LOVE.... the kinds of LOVE.... the depths of LOVE.... along comes this amazing little being that will one day call you g~ma!! and your heart cracks wide open and out gushes a whole new reality of LOVE!!! How magikal and surreal! My heart is so full! I'm excited for little Mason to be part of such an amazing family/community that is OURS!! I can't waitl for you all to meet this magikal little guy! Mason Cruz Edward Procknow!! With a name like that.....how can he help but not have fun in life!!! ??

Today.....my mama died.....

after a long week of sitting by her bed, stroking her face, soothing her fears, massaging her body, and telling her how much I loved her she finally slipped into what appeared to be unconsciousness and only her labored breathing continued. My siblings and I sat vigil at her bedside watching her struggle. I didn't want to leave fearing she would know she was alone and afraid. So I sat and stroked and sang and soothed even when it seemed she may not be aware. Then, after all night and most of the morning as I was talking with my dad about the benefits of morphine in assisting her in her passage, I looked over at her and tears were streaming down her cheeks, my heart broke and I took her face in my hands and I told her to not cry, that it would all be ok very soon, that I loved her sooooo much and I wanted her to rest, more tears and then with her face in my hands she opened her eyes and looked into my face and quit breathing. Whew! My heart is so full right now. My mama is gone and I am reminded how precious to me she was. And I am so thankful for all the love I have felt from all of you! My family!. I love you so much!

My youngest son graduated from HS on Sun.!! I'm so proud of him !! He graduated with highest honors! Something I never accomplished! And he did it so effortlessly! So many emotions for me right now! Hard to believe my children have all grown up! And into such beautiful beings! I am blessed! And so proud of each of them! I'm still trying on the hats of life so to speak! Still not sure about how the hats are fitting me right now! It's a strange time of life......I'm trying to gracefully embrace it! WHEW! I just keep telling myself ....it's going to be ok!! What other choices are there? None that I would consider! So I'm just going to keep smiling, laughing, going to BM, and loving my life and mostly...all of YOU that are in it!! I LOVE YOU ALL!! and...... I LOVE MY LIFE!

why there is so much being said about 'feeling uncool'. I experienced this sort of response after my first BM in 2002 and was shocked that people felt that way.....that some people thought they were 'cooler' than thou attitude..... I for one....don't preceive that attitude from anyone in this tribe of ours! And hearing others comment about their feelings makes me sad. It makes for separation and I don't think that is what any of us want. Let's just all try to celebrate each other and the individuality that we each one brings to the table. We're ALL COOL! We're ALL FREAKS!! It'a ALL GOOD!!!

I remember when I first met up with this 'tribe'.... and thinking.....wow....those people are sooooooooo COOL!! I would never fit into their tribe cuz they're all just way too cool for me!!! That was then....... It's all just an illusion, a projection..... Look at us all now!!! We're ALL FREAKS in this WAY TOO COOL world of ours!! You just have to believe it. It's all the FREAKY people, not the COOL people, that make the beauty of the world!!! So give it up....FUCK COOL!!! If you want to be COOL you're DUMB! COOL was so 2yrs. ago!!! I love you all.....all you beautiful FREAKS!!! Get over yourselves and enjoy!! Life's way too short to worry about who's cool and who's not!! As LORD HUCKLEBERRY would say: FUCK IT!!!!

I love my little Thai tea house in my back yard. It reminds me of magical times in Thailand. It serves as a sleeping/love nest for my visitors! :-)
