Rachel is indeed a muse, in every way imaginable. Always tempting, never at hand, Rachel is a woman well worth persuing with every means you have at your disposal.

I've known Rachel for over 3 years now and our friendship has only grown since. She's got more energy than anyone I know, she's reliable, a beautiful bellydancer, always has time for her friends. And no matter if it's with latex, fur or sequins, she's always ready to dress up and party !

I am completely about this upcoming workshop we're hosting - after seeing the amazing knee spinning in Gypsy Caravan and all those flirtatious facial expressions in her video, I know this is going to be one hoot of a workshop that I'll actually be able to carry over into my performances. (After all, Clandestine is all about the sass!)

So Andra's cat got pretty sick, and worked up almost $10,000 in vet bills. The good news is that the cat is going to be fine. The bad news is that Andra is living on the salary of a kindergarten school teacher, and is having a real tough time making ends meet. Andra is such a kind-hearted, lovely lady she'd do anything for her cat. Beth, a kind-hearted and lovely lady who would do anything for a friend in need, decided to pull together a benefit show to help raise a little cash for the vet bill! How nice are these girls?
So I'm thrilled to be part of it! Not only is it for a good cause, but its a great lineup of great dancers! Its also a welcome opportunity for me to shake it with my gals again after being couch-bound with a torn leg muscle. And the fabulous Mr McKew will be Mcing. And my favourite DJs are playing!
What more could a girl ask for?
Come and shake your bootie with me, won't you?

Wow! One of my projects is nominated for *two* Webby Awards - I'm so excited! It really was my favourite project of last year - great team, great content, and the only time I've been paid to watch Johnny Depp footage!
The site was for ILM's Pirates of the Caribbean II movie:
www.ilm.com/theshow
and the Webby Awards have this crazy popularity contest, so go register and vote for the pirates in these two categories:

(sheesh - it kinda reminds me of high school and running for student council)

about me
I work hard and play harder; I am cursed with being a morning person; I could eat ice cream at every meal and never tire of it; I know more about The Orb than you do.
Vincent Longo is my new passion - I just can't get enough (kind of like sake). If you have the chance, I highly recommend trying it - you will feel beautiful all the time. (Just don't ask to borrow mine.)

Re: What sort of Budget am I looking at?
(in !!BlackSheep, Tribal Fest & Kajira D.)
Lodging in nearby Rohnert Park is very affordable. And like everyone else mentioned, food is relatively cheap, even if you are buying it onsite at TribalFest. There are very ample-sized meals for $5-$7, and even wine was only $5 for a big glass,...

Re: heading to the bay area for the holidays
(in Bay Area Bellydance)
On New Year's, DJ Amar is throwing an event that features Fat Chance, Clandestine (my troupe), Calamity Sam and I think a few others. There will be fantastic music (along the lines of Bollywood and Balkan), and plenty of opportunity for everyone ...
