Barack Obama

   Sat, October 18, 2008 - 4:18 PM
Today Senator Barack Obama visited St. Louis. The rally was held downtown on the grounds of the Arch. It was estimated to be over 100,000 people that attended. I enjoyed being a part of history, mingling with others and taking pictures.

This has been one of the most exciting political races that I've witnessed. I'm definately hoping and praying for Change.

I heard there was a great turnout in St. Louis. Waiting to hear from friends what the event was like tonight in KC. We would have gone, but for the eight-year-old who would have been bored silly waiting two hours in that kind of crowd to hear him speak.

YES!! I heard that he had record numbers in St. Louis - the numbers for KC were around 75,000 from what I heard, so we didn't quite beat you guys, LOL.
My friends and I went down last night to see him. What a day! Standing around for hours packed in like sardines ---- but it was well worth it. He did a great speech and others such as Emanuel Cleaver and the impressive Governor of Kansas were there, too. Can't wait for Nov 4 to cast my vote!!
