A man such as Rand should not be lacking in testimonials. I shall write the first one, to prime the pump as it were, so that the testimony of others might begin to flow for him.
Rand's emanation of wise and gentle kindness is a shining beacon to those who seek friendship and counsel. Though I have not spent a very great deal of time with him, and do not communicate with him regularly (as we tend to travel in different circles), I do treasure the moments and words that have passed between us. I consider him one of the people whose friendship I can count on - and that is a society to which admission is not easily won.
Rand has rescued me in a time of distress. He has thoughtfully conversed with me as I worked through my confusion. For these reasons and others, he has my love, respect, and admiration.
