I don't really know whether I'm Scottish or Irish. I've always thought Irish for some reason, but I hear Fergus is a Scottish last name. The funny thing is that it's an Irish first name. I have no idea really. If any of you have some genealogical systems that would tell me, that would be great.

I have absolutely no idea what I'm writing about right now. Some ferry has possessed my hands and is preparing to take you down some far flung rabbit hole. In deep space. With two cans of beer, a flashlight and you're wearing no clothes. It's raining. In space. Which you find rather odd, as your seventh grade teacher taught you that this is absolutely impossible.

What sort of a dick teaches children it doesn't rain in deep space, which by your own fairy enchanted eyes, it most certa... read more

All I remember from the Burn this year is all the fun my camp mates and I had together. This photo is a perfect example. All of us laying in futons on the Esplanade, eating snacks, drinking water and mixed drinks, and then the ultimate in good times at the Church of Chill - heckling. What you see here is our favorite heckling game called "Thing In The Road". You've probably heard me ranting and raving about how awesome "Thing In The Road" is. There are only a few rules.

1) Pick a t... read more

It's break up season! That troubling time right before and after the burn when we re-evaluate our relationships and realize "This is Bullshit!". Look around folks. Our friends are breaking up all over the place, again, and this year I thought I'd help em out with some of my favorite songs dedicated to the "rough times" in relationships. All these songs are written by my favorite song writer Jonathan Coulton, who by the way, is awesome. So here we go, three very different songs for three ... read more

Straight from Emerge-N-See, the front lines of the west coast Tribe-Dustrial scene, come your up to date coverage on what's "In" this year.

Live birds are the new feathered fedora hat! It's about living feathers not yet plucked. It's about small little exotic pets who sit on your shoulder and nuzzle your make upped cheek. You can still have a fedora if that's truly your thing, but if you want to be "In" there better be a living bird up there. A few folks have tried supplementing thei... read more

Would one of my dear and gracious friends please post a photo today? Anything will do, so long as it's not that damnable picture of me thinking about firemen and babies. That photo depicting how much I love thinking about firemen and babies at the same time (which I rarely do by the way.) has been the number on photo in my photo section for 3 days now.

I'm not saying there's anything wrong with firemen or babies. Many firemen have babies that they care about very much. They also save b... read more

My Testimonials

don. dawn. like the morning sun rising. I met don on the MGB, back when he was JoeBot. He is always nice to me, and wicked smart, so I like talking to him.

But my favorite is to call him The Morning Dawn.....because he is full of light.

I haven't known Joe Bot long, nor do I know him as well as I would like, but I can say with absolute authority that he has the most gorgeously sincere and open smile I have ever seen. Out at the Burningman, it could easily make my whole damn night to wander a corner and come mano-a-mano with that SMILE. It brightens, lightens and raises all that it touches. Thanks for sharing...

Donald is like the snuffleupagus of carpathean snaggletooth. One frollick of tomorrows good taste leads sneakily under the bridge to ninjas retreat. Many a hawktooth and rollimangle formigaded upon those shores. He knows this as an ancient wisdom rises without a care. A notch among notches and loached to the gills. This child of the empresses pets, blesses and kills. muhahahaha one love brother! Hail.
