Going to Burning Man?

As the theme camp placements have all been announced its time to post my location and attempt to get on-playa camping locations for those that know them.

I'm camping with the Lahontan Korps in Gigsville again this year. Gigsville is occupying most of the double block from 3:30 to 4:00 and between C and E. Lahontan is going to be at approximately C and 3:45.

Gigsville should be relatively easy to locate, particularly at night as we'll once again have the Uberman to guide drunks home. Lahontan will be the giant camouflage structure adjacent to the Uberman.

So if you know where you're going to be this year feel free to post your location and arrival day and I'll attempt to swing by at some point

Looking for a housemate

Well, I'm ready to start my looking for someone to rent the other bedroom in my apartment. If you're looking for a place or know someone that is feel free to contact me. I'm not in a big rush but would like to have someone lined up to move in by the end of May. I've put a full (ie overly long) writeup at amp.digitalfreaks.org/rental.txt but here are the quick details:

- Rent is $730/month + utilities (~$60-100/month depending on usage)
- Move in cost is first months rent and an equal deposit
- Rent is for one unfurnished bedroom (~10x12 plus closet), the house is otherwise fully equipped
- The house is a ~850sqft 2BR/1BA townhouse in the lower Haight with a private yard
- No non-caged pets
- Street parking only

(The rent may be slightly negotiable for a suitably compatible roommate)

Blargh, need a new roommate

Looks like I'm going to be kicking my new housemate out. He seems incapable of not generating noise complaints while I'm away, despite telling me three days earlier that he wouldn't have any one over for a while after the complaints last weekend. So let me know if theres anyone looking to rent a room in the lower Haight for ~$700/month.

MC Ride on Sunday afternoon?

Figured I'd post it here as there are more folks that ride on my list here than Livejournal...

While the weathers still pretty nice I want to take a ride up to Skyline drive and back up to SF along highway 1, probably stopping for a late lunch at Alices or somewhere in Half-MoonBbay. Anyone interested in meeting up on Sunday noonish for a group ride?
