Grey like a well travelled road that fades off mysteriously into the distance around the corner
Grey like the sky in BC when a storm is coming over the ocean
Grey like the milkieness of blindness as it start in the centre of your favorite pets eyes
Grey like the hairs that appear at our temples when we have enough wisdom to earn them
Grey like your favorite teddy bear as a child, worn down, dirty from generations of little hands touching and loving
The color grey of the dash of an old car, one so old that it has a name like, "Old Betsy"
So dont underestimate grey, it has the same depth to it as that quiet plain girl in the corner, who at any moment could take down her ponytail and take off her glasses (circa every 80's movie) and be the most striking woman in the room....

grey can be very grounding and soft feeling for me .

grey is unpolished silver
and said to be the color of mental instability... maybe that's why i like it so much. hehe gris gris gumbo yaya. |

greytness
what about gandalf the grey? and the grey havens, the undying lands where only the elves can go.
i went looking after marin said it was the color of metal instability. the only thing i could find on the net about that was that orange was the color of instability. when i looked at wiki on the colour grey i got depressed. "wishiwashiness", the greys (aliens), oppo environmentalists, drabness etc. yeah yeah we all know about grey. perhaps my concern lies in the fact that my wardrobe has been almost fully grey for the past 4 years. i counted 7 grey hoodies. i do love the neutrality of it all. libras hey. it's never black or white for us. still, made me think i should maybe wear the occasional colourful piece. just to spice it all up. and what about silver..it's pretty much shiny grey isnt it? |

grey is beautiful
the sky is most beautiful mixed with shades of grey my shadow is grey my kitty is spotted grey my eyes turn grey sometimes a special color indeed |
