Total Eclipse of the Sun

"Tuesday night is the 2nd Cancer new moon (29:17 degrees) along with the longest total solar eclipse (the moon, passing between Sun & Earth, completely obscures the Sun’s light) of the 21st century. This eclipse (and the Sun’s corona – tongues of fire), the 2nd in a triplicity is most visible in China (and parts of India, however India is in the midst of monsoon season), is also visible across SE Asia and western Pacific (en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Sola...22,_2009), lasts a total of 6 ½ minutes and is 160 miles wide. The new moon solar eclipse occurs at 7:35 pm Pacific time (9:35 pm; 10:35 pm east coast). The path of totality (tracking the eclipse on the Earth’s surface) lasts 3.4 hours. Eclipses bring inner/outer realities to a completion and thus to an end. Solar eclipses conclude (end, dissolve) substantial inner realities of how we see ourselves. When the moon covers the Sun we must be aware not to allow our desire (emotional) nature dominate. Enlightenment is hidden. Wait awhile. There is not enough vital (Sun) energy to create anew (not yet). Caution. Balance feelings with reason. Or remain quiet until after the eclipse.

Endings/Beginnings

Eclipses, creating step by step evolutionary changes, mark endings (old) and beginnings (new), break holding patterns and affect the entire planet, not only the geographical areas falling under the eclipse path. This eclipse especially affects those with 29 (considered a critical degree) degrees in their astrological charts. Because the eclipse trines Uranus (spiritual reality comes forth creating revolution) and inconjuncts (150 degrees apart) Pluto (total transformation in government and structures) is in Cancer (our United States is Cancer Sun), issues of security, mother, nurturing, milk, home, housing (market), and foundations will be emphasized (critical issues) in the coming three months. Tuesday may be very challenging. Wednesday morning, Sun enter Leo and Jupiter joins (conjuncts) Chiron. The whole world becomes a stage show, performance, production, theater both tragic and comedic.
