"When the great universal teacher Shakyamuni Buddha first spoke about the Dharma in the noble land of India, he taught the four noble truths: the truths of suffering, the cause of suffering, the cessation of suffering and the path to the cessation of suffering."
"To love. To be loved. To never forget your own insignificance. To never get used to the unspeakable violence and the vulgar disparity of life around you. To seek joy in the saddest places. To pursue beauty to its lair. To never simplify what is complicated or complicate what is simple. To respect strength, never power. Above all, to watch. To try and understand. To never look away. And never, never, to forget." - Arundhati Roy

"Perhaps all the dragons in our lives are princesses waiting to see us act, just once, with beauty and courage. Perhaps everything that frightens us is in its deepest essence, something helpless that wants our love." ~ Rainer Maria Rilke (Letters to a Young Poet) "Mara, the God of Confusion, realized this was his last chance to stop Siddhart...ha from attaining enlightenment and spreading wisdom throughout the world. Mara summoned armies, filled with fearsome creatures from other realms, and caused a terrible storm in order to distract Siddhartha from meditating. Mara is said to have ten armies - sensual desire, boredom, hunger & thirst, craving, sloth, terror, uncertainty, hypocrisy, undeserved notoriety, and pride. The contrasting solo sections in this piece represent attacks by the armies of sensual desire and terror respectively, while the main theme represents Mara's malevolence followed by Siddhartha's peaceful reply. Eventually, Mara realized that it was impossible to distract Siddhartha from his task, so he demanded that Siddhartha move from his place underneath the tree, asking Siddhartha what right he had to sit there. Siddhartha replied that he had earned the right to sit there because he had practiced the "Ten Perfections" of generosity, virtue, renunciation, wisdom, effort, patience, truthfulness, determination, loving-kindness and equanimity. Mara accused Siddhartha of of lying and asked him who had witnessed him practicing these perfections. Siddhartha replied by lowering his right hand and touching the earth, in a gesture referred to as "Calling the Earth To Witness". The earth's response, represented by the gong hits, was a huge earthquake which caused the ground to split open and swallow Mara up along with all his armies."

Embrace can put words in wordless situations! She is magus weaving her will into stories and breathing life into dead words. Only her heart is bigger than her talent! She is most kind and charitable. I am very lucky to know her.

Embrace is one of the wisest and kindest human beings I've ever had the joy of knowing (even if only through the net). She is a constant reminder of those truths we know in our deepest hearts (though our heads have forgotten). I feel deep gratitude for her presence on tribe.

What beauty, this lady with her gift.
In my mind I see her eyebrows lift. Piercing her eyes through symbols and myths.. Reaching beyond illusion, desire and wish. A puncturing core, a heart filled with light. She heals broken dreams with her sight A lucid projection... ... of love and affection. She is like erotic poetry in the self-help section. A sparkling glimmer in a vague recollection. It's a joy to know you embrace.. Thanks for the great reading January 7, 2009
~when the time was right embrace embraced my spirit with warmth and love. Beyond this, she performed a tarot reading for me and for my sister. Embrace is a very clear channel and devoted time and of herself to these readings. I recommend her highly as a friend, and as a tarot reader.....she hasn't seen the last of me by any stretch of the imagination! Ha! (((BIG HUG)))~ox

Embrace is a woman of indeed true gifts... A treasure to be shared among many souls... but what would it all be if it was not held in a vessel of compassion? This is a vessel of home and acceptance...only can compassion dwell within this form. Thank You for reading my cards....with compassion....and without judgment.... It is so important to an innocent. I hold you dear to heart.
Blessings, Peace, and Always Love, Adhara
