I've recently been accused (thank you Leon) of being a bit reclusive. Am I, are we? Yes, I suppose so. I think a large part of why we came here was to escape the rat race of North American life and find out what it is to live simply. It's been an education for sure, of the best kind. Wow - nearly a year gone by since I last posted here. So what have I been doing? Hmmm.... well after a five month stint in Vancouver which included much soul searching and a few months on a therapists couch, I came back to Thailand. LIfe is interesting here, Michel and I still a couple, though we still have intense moments. So much love, so much so much ....well, stuff.

Hello Lovlies~

I am back in Vancouver, minus one Michel. A time of reflection and soul searching; I am odds with myself, Michel and I are odds with each other...so a break is necessary. The plan is that I go back to Thailand in about 2 months and go from there ~ uncertainty is everywhere. There is love between us, but power struggles and other demons are louder than love right now. About a month ago we landed in the little Northern village of Pai we have been working and chilling (often at the same time) since we arrived. We are staying at a place called the Good Life,full of cool and interesting people. Our hosts, Konstantin and Plaa are lovely people. Originally we rented a small house from them, about a 15 minute walk from town but it was FUCKING freezing cold at night so we have moved back into town and taken a room at the Inn - which is very cozy,and much warmer... read more
