Well, I'm updating here - again. Not much is new except I now AM half way to 50. And well - I still kinda get flummoxed by this secion. I can tell you how I see myself and what and who I feel/think/believe I am and yet if you ask my friends (and my non-friends) they'll probably contradict me in both directions.

I am still human and all that that means (contradictions wrapped in conundrums and tied up in a pretty dichotomous bow). In some ways though I'm not quite...as my Beloved says, "Raven - you're a Martian." I am I suppose. Some of society's "rules" I just don't get and the older I get the more I don't get why the heck I should conform to the norm. Or as another friend put it, "I can't ever see it. You and "conventional" just don't fit."

I continue to teach at our local community college and after 5 years it's becoming more of a challenge to keep things fresh and new. But, I haven't lost my penchant for soaking in moonshine, weaving mists and rainbows and gazing at a sky and clouds that just take my breath away.
