RealGirl is the flame-approved glue that holds Burning Silicon together. She makes great things happen and our community is so lucky to have her. She has a flair for Playa fashion and is always warm and welcoming to everyone. She's beautiful, generous, ambitious and a great friend. Her fur is faux but this girl is real.

It is the first day of spring. Just to make the point, I have a dove who made a nest in one of the hanging plants in my back yard, and she just had two babies. It's going to be glorious weekend, and I'm going camping with a few of my nearest & dearest friends :-) And my best friend from New York was just here to spend a precious 36 hours with me. And, oh yeah, today's my birthday!

Some of you know that in addition to the travel biz, I've been trying to break into voiceover work. I just got my first paycheck!!! $150 for a 30-second spot. That's ... let's see ... carry the 2, minus 9 ... I think that's $5 per second!!!! Okay, so WTF? I just returned home after a 5-day trip to New York, helping my Honorary Brother Richard celebrate his birthday (see photo).
