There were two keys on that ring. I meant to separate them and keep one in my tent, but I didn't do it. Boy did I wish I had!

I have read the first one-third of so many non-fiction books, and I look forward to reading the rest of many of them. The ones that I have read in their entirety have usually made it into my toolbox of personal growth, communication, or relating.

One tool I’ve used so well that it’s become an unconscious part of my process is Byron Katie’s “Work,” based on questioning one’s own beliefs. For me, this has been immensely powerful, and I was reminded today just how much her tool, the “One Beli... read more
Three years ago, my sister Caryn was diagnosed with MS. I've given money each year since then to the National MS Society, but this year I decided to think about it a little more, spend a little more time with it. Even though it's not the most efficient fundraising method possible, I'm doing the MS Walk. Would you donate a little bit to sponsor me?

Rebecca Reagan Some days I awake, grey eyed and sleepy Tired, dreamed unsweet No milk for the coffee The plant looks scraggly And you used up the hot water. Some days things itch and poke, The world is pointy And aimed right at me And the gas tank is empty and My hair looks stupid. Some days I need reminding That the sun fucking rose today The birds are still out there, And babies are still being born And hey, there's always toast. Some da... read more

David Elliott's breathwork is a remarkable healing collaboration in which you, the client, breathe in a special pattern that I teach you, and I support and guide your experience as you enter an altered state and access your own inner power and wisdom. Some clients even feel they've accesse... read more

Many churches have a Sunday in September called Homecoming, when the congregation, who over the summer has scattered off to vacations and visits, returns "home" to the church. We are not a church. We are, when we congregate, a congregation. And we are, when we congregate, a special group of people, who by our example to each other, our abiding love for each other, and by holding each other to account, inspire ourselves to be our best. We are, as we live our lives, ... read more

Truly a special gem. Altough I don't know if she'd necessarily like the word gem. She's unique and to her own. But pleasantly so. Authentic, powerful, true to herself, on purpose, generous, loving, open, honest, bold, vulnerable, inspiring, delicate, feminine. Truly a special character and certainly one that I'm honored to know.
I find what Rebecca generates for herself to me most attractive and a very powerful force for those around her.

Re: talking about HPV

Nothing, of course. I was just curious about your statement that you require testing of all partners, in an HPV context. Sounds like you do the same as I do.

Re: talking about HPV

Jez, men can't be tested for HPV. So how to do handle that?
Diva, I think it's the kind of thing in which you bear the responsibility to tell, and then, for your own good, educate. I deal with the same thing in having HSV1, and it sucks, but ... read more discussion post on Mon, May 5, 2008 - 2:33 PM

I'd like to point out that most carports are not that large. 200 square feet, I think. How does that compare to the little dome?
And they're not dust proof. You might want to look into building large-size monkeyhuts instead, though these are... read more discussion post on Mon, April 28, 2008 - 1:23 PM
