1. What did you do in 2006 that you'd never done before?
Saw Penguins, twice! Once in San Antonio and again in Galveston.
Took a local cemetery tour.
2. Did you keep your new year's resolutions, and will you make more for next year?
I made waaaay too long a list for 2006. I kept most of them; there are a few carrying over into 2007. I guess a new one to add would be to build up my investments.
3. Did anyone close to you give birth?
No.

Yes. :(

None.
6. What would you like to have in 2007 that you lacked in 2006?
More time with my friends.

Don't have one this year.
8. What was your biggest achievement of the year?
Learning what I needed to know to gain control of migraine attacks.
Oh, I also was promoted at work.
9. What was your biggest failure?
Well, got to get this procrastination under control. Maybe tomorrowâ¦
10. Did you suffer illness or injury?
1st and hopefully last bout with sciatica that was totally wretched. I actually had to use a cane to walk for a while (was told that made me âso Britishâ but I am not sure why exactlyâ¦). Also found out that I have to be really careful about acidic intake, apparently my digestive system canât handle what it used to. I miss citrus fruit!
11. What was the best thing you bought? Emusic subscription.
12. Whose behavior merited celebration? Don't have one for that.
13. Whose behavior made you appalled and depressed?
More than just one person unfortunately but I will name just a few here â Saddam Hussein. The way he carried on in the courtroom and vengeful things he was urging Iraqi people to do was terrible. Hanging is too good for him.
Bush â¦. Yeah of course.
Honorable mention: Yahoo! Made me most disappointed and annoyed for not responding at all to the fact that somehow my sign-on of 6 years was pirated. Good bye to that, and good bye Launchcast. "Hello" Pandora.com though! I need a good chat system, if I am going to chat online anyways⦠hmm.
Oh, and footnote â more like appalled not depressed. Please donât be a fool and make me depressed anyone, you wouldnât like me depressed!!
14. Where did most of your money go?
Rent, taxes, automotive maintenance, education, and groceries are the top five on my expense report.

Fleeting things⦠they did not really impact me enough to make mention here.

Sex. Ha-ha! Um, actually, I wish only that I had learned more and went to more places that I have never been to. But all in all, none of these things were a complete loss.

Watching television, geez! How not like myself. I really got sucked in.

Visiting and being visited.

VNV Nation, Spoon, Deep Forest, The Dresden Dolls, The Lovemakers, Timo Maas, Ray Montange, and The Decemberists.

Nothing really stood out for me. I think I only went maybe 3 timesâ¦

Pizza at Barryâs with some pals, and played pool at Slick Willieâs. Damn Super Bowl crap was everywhere though! No escape from that until coming home. Now I am 31 - for those who are keeping track.

Living in a house instead of an apartment.

Just being me.

Same-sex marriage controversy, just because I love to see the religious right squirming.
