The Museum of Reconstructions

The Museum of Reconstructions, a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization based in San Francisco, California, was formed in 1997 to develop and publish computer-generated archaeological reconstructions and interactive exhibits. Its mission is to provide three-dimensional modeling and software development services to scholars and non-profit organizations, and to develop and freely distribute educational and scientific publications through interactive museum exhibits and the World Wide Web. Reconstructions developed by the Museum have appeared in a number of scholarly publications and museum exhibits, and have been enjoyed by as many as 30,000 visitors to its free web site at www.reconstructions.org.
